The choice between God or Baal has been ongoing for ages. It started immediately after Moses delivered the law of God to the children of Israel and went to the mountain to collect the handwriting of it.

1 Kings 18:21 ( And Elijah came to all the people and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? If the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word)

Baal then appeared in their midst, ready to collect worship from the children of Israel, and he entered Aaron to mould two golden calves that represented his presence.

He didn’t not only come to compete with God but also to take dominion, he also manifested in the time of the prophets during the period of Elijah in the kingdom of Israel.

He came through Queen Jezebel to establish the worship of Baal in the country, his prophets were placed on the King’s table to eat with him, this conspiracy against the kingdom of God has been activated since the devil took over the dominion of the earth from Adam and it won’t end till Jesus comes.

God always intervene and shows his supremacy over every other god, it happened in the time of law and repeat it self in the dispensation of the prophets and is also repeating itself right now in the time of grace.

Whoever understands the spiritual aspect of life will know that the battle that is going on between nations now is the battle of supremacy between God and Baal.

Baal just doesn’t want to compete with God for he knows he can’t win, the presence of God in the battle of supremacy on mount carmel deleted him, and his prophets were just shouting in vain to the extent of cutting their own flesh.

He loves to take preeminence in the name of religion and put the whole human race under his dominion in the name of Islam, his mission for this generation.

But God is ready to put him to submission as he has done before, he will also do it again.

When Aaron came with golden calves moses burnt them to ashes and gave the ashes to the rebellious among the people to drink, Elijah also commanded fire from above as a testament to prove the supremacy of God over Baal, history always repeats itself, its only those who have a spiritual understanding of the past that will understand the present.

The agent of Baal is going about the nations that have their foundation in Christ to establish Baal worship, he already has nations that are committed to him, but he is extending his dominion over all nations that don’t understand his wiles.

He did it to the children of Israel but they pushed him out when their nation declared its sovereignty.

God always win over Baal, as he won in the time of Moses in the dispensation of the law and God also won in the dispensation of the prophets, he will also win in the dispensation of grace.

When Baal was pretending to be God and desired the worship of men, Elijah came and said, If Baal be God serve him and if the LORD is God, serve him, but the LORD that answereth by fire, let him be God.

The prophets of baal has been breathing threat over the nations of the earth, saying there wont be peace if nations failed to acknowledge and worship baal, they’re proclaiming baal to be the real God, but as God disgrace them in the time of moses, and destroy them in the time of Elijah, he is ready to destroy them in our time and put them to shame over all the nations, including the nations that are commited to his cause, they shall be delivered as a lawful captives and all glory shall be return to the Most High.

Baal will never have dominion over the children of God where the will of Jehovah reigns, for where the spirit of God is there is liberty.

No one battles with the God of Israel and wins, he is always in control, the god that doesn’t create the earth will perish with the earth.

Since he couldn’t have dominion in the period of law and lost dominion over the people of God in the time of the prophets, he will surely lose dominion where the spirit of God reigns.

The battle that is going on in this world now is the battle of dominion like the time of Elijah, history is repeating itself, whoever have eyes and ears should understand this mystery, baal must be subdue and the children of God must have freedom to do the will of God.

God who created the earth has full authority over his heritage to subdue men under his dominion, to him, all knees must bow and every tongue must confess Jesus Christ as lord to the glory of God the Father.

Some religion exalted their prophets more than God and remained perpetually under the manipulation of Baal through the revelation of their prophets.

There is a difference between being under the guidance of a man of God and being under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, Satan is looking for those whom he will devour but can’t come near those who are under the power of the Holy Spirit. The people under their leaders are susceptible to satanic attack and can be manipulated by Baal.

Jesus came to transfer man back to his presence and be protected under the shadow of the Almighty, its time now to know whom you serve, God or man, let the one who answers by fire be the God of the universe.

The man you serve instead of God and surrendered your life to represents the two golden calves of Aaron, until you remove them from the throne of your heart and enthroned the man that died for your sake, that’s when you’ll have total freedom from Baal infiltration over your life and live forever in total freedom.

Prayer: Father lord, deliver all the nations that belong to you from the stronghold of man and render the influence of man to the abyss, from the spiritual realm to the physical, let the name of Jesus Christ be glorified. In Jesus name amen
