Matthew 7:1 ( Judge not, that ye be not judged)

Judge not in this Bible passage is a message for the accuser who finds pleasure in judging others while they find it difficult to remove the log that is in their own eyes.

Instead of letting the saints interpret it properly, as Christ says, we turn it into a means to remain in our sin and let the grace of God abound.

This kind of evil virus has spread among the saints, making it difficult to correct any anomaly without being met with, “Don’t judge me.”

It’s the truth that Jesus Christ said, Do not judge so that you won’t be judged, This kind of judgment is different from how we interpreted our own in the church of God.

Judging in the way of the world belongs to accusers of the brethren, those who castigate others are doing the work of Satan.

They left the log in their eyes to remove the specks in others’ eyes.

Some have condemned the sinner to the extent that the sinner went home to commit suicide.

The woman who was caught in adultery wasn’t condemned by Jesus Christ, he told those who were castigating her that, whoever has not committed sin should first cast the first stone, but the completion of the matter is that he told her to go and sin no more.

We can see that those who brought her to Jesus are already passing their judgment, without bringing the partner in sin to be judged, they were judging by flesh, but Jesus Christ is the only one who can pass rightful judgment.

You are not competent to judge others if your sin is still crying for mercy, that was why he said, whoever is yet to commit sin since the day he was born should first cast a Stone.

No one was able to do that, they were all challenging her with judgment while their own sins are also calling for vengeance against them.

Their guilty conscience also condemned them, so also those who condemned sinners and said things to them that they didn’t wish for their own children.

We too have the unction to say the same to a sinner, that we too don’t condemn you, but don’t do this again, stop committing adultery in the church, stop stealing and stop doing busy body among the saints, this is not condemnation, if you can’t do this little thing to help a soul, you’re not worthy to be called a leader, for that is the purpose you’re called, to lead someone out of sin to the presence of the living God.

It’s different from the way some people look at a sinner and judge them from their heart, that, she is a prostitute, she can never see who to marry.

She has had an abortion, she won’t be able to give birth again, or she is lazy, she will be poor for life.

She is into drugs, she is supposed to enter a rehabilitation center, or how will she see her husband who will marry her, when all she does is play around with men.

All these kinds of comments are like passing judgment when we are not God who decides for each person in life.

No one has the power to act God in the life of a sinner, nor do you have the power to act Satan in another person’s life by castigating and accusing when God wants to bring sinners to repentance.

This kind is different from open or secret rebukes, when you see your neighbor going down the path of destruction, the most noble thing to do is to correct and bring him back.

This virus of don’t judge has infected our congregation that anybody can do anything and still come to the pulpit to minister.

I saw a lady in my community who was involved in alcohol and doing runs to feed herself and her family reading a Sunday school journal.

Then I asked, Which church do you attend, She told me that she is a Sunday school teacher in her department.

I was surprised and asked jokingly With this your attitude? She then told me that whenever she goes to church she will dress up like a saint and remove all those things from her body, that her church allows her.

I was bitter in my soul that what has the church become?

This don’t judge was the answer I got in one bible study when I asked about some leaders who still keep malice with their members and do something that is not being done by unbelievers, can’t we tell them to act normally in the way of God?

All of them just said one thing at the same time, which is ” judge not”.

So they allowed a filthy fellow to minister because of this, they permit women to put on trousers and make up in the church because they don’t want to judge.

Don’t judge is killing the spirit of holiness among the saints and permits Satan to operate fully in the church and also produces not serious Christians.

So that unrepentant sinner can mount the pulpit to teach others, it makes them continue in sin and pray for the grace to abound.

A church that is being led by a fornicator who hasn’t paid his wife dowry, and a Sunday school teacher is addicted to bleaching till she becomes white, how will they preach repentance to a sinner that just entered their church? Or how will they lead their congregation to the presence of God when they don’t know the actual Way there, which is total obedience to the Will of God?

Don’t judge me has stagnated the spiritual life of the saints, everyone sleeps and faces the same position, no one dares correct each other, this is what places the church in spiritual mediocrity.

The reason for the church establishment is to bring men to Christ through repentance and change of ways, if you don’t change your ways from the way of Adam how do you think you can operate in spirit to see the face of God?

This is the present-day message and the gospel which is far from what Christ and the apostles preached.

Jesus Christ told the man who was sick for thirty-eight years to stop sinning so that the worst won’t happen to him, it’s our business to let sinners know the consequences of their actions if they continue in sin after healing, this is not passing judgment it’s spiritual awareness.

The Word of God is a consuming fire that consumes sin and the flesh and changes one’s orientation towards the things of God.

Without holiness no one shall see the LORD, By reading and studying the word daily, it’s like looking at yourself in a mirror and making you adjust your life from the way of fallen Adam to the way of Christ.

Jesus Christ says, he doesn’t come to judge but calls sinners to repentance, It’s the word that will judge you and remold you to what Christ desires you to be for Him, and we need to help each other in the kingdom by bringing us to the knowledge of the truth that we may obtain permanent freedom against the wiles of our enemy.

Prayer: Father Lord, rebuke accuser for my saints, correct me with love lest my enemy rejoice over me, in Jesus name amen.
