Col 2:8 ( Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiment of the world, and not after Christ)

Three giants are standing in the way of every believer to their purpose in God; they are fighting against our faith in Christ, preventing our growth in the knowledge of God, to subject it under the control of these giants if it’s not well rooted in Jesus Christ and what he has done.

The stronghold of these giants is in the church of God which makes the temple become the synagogue of the devil.

These giants are religion, culture, and human traditions, they hide behind these to obstruct Christians’s journey to the presence of God, and they also serve as a distraction for the Pilgrims to divert from the way of Calvary to the world under the control of the devil.

Christians were created to rule the earth, and wherever they step their feet, will become their possession, but the purpose of Satan for them is to join him and rule the world, which is the stronghold of the devil; the earth is created by God, belongs to God alone, and also the heritage of God’s children.

Religion and human traditions had affected the first church drastically and turned it into the synagogue of Satan, where all the abominations of the world dwell.

Most of these denominations are rooted in human tradition to cloud their spiritual judgment against the righteousness of God.

The first Church was affected by the practice of idolatry, and it’s still affecting the Protestants who still brought over the idols of Egypt down to their promised land.

Carryover of idols is a carryover of curses and covenants that are associated with it.

Religion is trying to seek God in our own way and in our own rules and methods.

Jesus Christ came to abolish it by becoming our religion; whoever wants to worship him must do it in spirit and in truth.

He is the way to God, which the Pharisees never want to agree with, and it results in killing him.

Religion can’t lead to the presence of God; God is the one who came down to seek the lost and bring them out of satan’s dungeon; if the Lord hasn’t found you, you’re lost already because you can’t seek him by your method.

Or maybe he is calling you, and you refuse to listen and answer the call of wisdom.

He reveals himself to whoever he will; some walk with him in his day, but they miss the day of their visitation. This is because he didn’t reveal himself; they died blindfolded in their religious errors.

Religion has taken over in the church of God, with the tradition of men, trying to add to the law of God, they minus from it to please their carnal nature.

The culture of men is the enemy of our faith in God; the pharisee rely on their culture and trample upon the law of God.

They washed their hand and feet but failed to clean their heart; they performed penance to deceive people, but when the one above culture came, the Lord of the Sabbath, they opposed him vehemently and nailed him to the Cross to preserve their demonic culture.

As it was yesterday, so also today and forever in our midst, we refuse whoever wants to bring change and castigate them to maintain the status quo.

We mingle the culture and traditions of men with the worship of God.

A man came to do thanksgiving for the masquerade festival in the church service and was welcome just not to interfere with the culture and laid down the rules of the community; they think they did it to bring the crowd to the church, not knowing that they are killing the spiritual life of who are there.

The cult was introduced to the church to preserve the culture of the elders, but it has become a wildfire, spreading through the churches and denominations to pollute the future generations of those who desire to serve God genuinely.

Instead of separation, we bring compromise through this practice; whoever wants to change it through the word of God shall be castigated and chased out of the congregation as the enemy of progress.

It has been the culture and tradition of some churches to preach for only fifteen minutes and use the remaining hours to collect offerings and do thanksgiving.

They refused to feed the saints with the bread of life but covet their purses and the little change in their pockets.

If you’re trying to put it right or exalt God’s word above other things, they’ll say you’re the enemy of the church, and you don’t want their progress; they base their progress on financial prosperity, not mind the spiritual prosperity of their members.

Some new believers desire to know God intimately, but they drive them away or bring them down to their level; instead of growth, they become worse than them and turn to twice children of hell.

Some churches have adopted celebrating birthdays for their leaders every year, not only the leaders but their family members as well, including all the children, to which the church members must contribute some amount to make it glorious.

The contribution is not willingly but the one they bill you by other members just to please their leaders.

They don’t care for the financial situation of their members; whoever refuses to contribute will leave the Church with shame by the time they ostracize him.

This kind of tradition won’t allow serious Christians to grow in faith, the burden of evil traditions will weigh them down and kill their spiritual prowess…to be continued
