Isaiah 55:7: “Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return unto the LORD, and He will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.”

Your pride and anger may have cost you valuable friendships, and you cannot remain in your position for more than 3 months before you are dismissed. Why not look inward and honestly examine where you have gone wrong? Identify the areas that require correction and make the necessary changes that can transform your life before you die in ignorance.

Instead of examining yourself, you continue to blame household wickedness. You need to bring yourself to the cross and allow your carnal nature to be crucified there.

Satan does not need to fight some people because they are already trapped by habits that will eventually destroy them.

God is calling everyone to come to Him in their low estate. His purpose is to give them the grace to move from a worse condition into a better one.

You do not need to be perfect before coming to Him. Come as you are, and you will be amazed at how His Word and His blood will wash and heal you from every spiritual infirmity.

You cannot genuinely encounter Him and remain the same. Something must change when you have a personal encounter with God.

Gay and lesbian people are also permitted to come to Him, and He will never cast anyone out. He calls them to turn away from the path Satan has led them into and to receive salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ.

You want God to rebuke the devourer for your sake, but you do not want to honour Him with your finances by giving Him the tenth He requires. Instead of obeying what He commanded in the Bible, you use seed sowing as a substitute. Change! Every promise of God has conditions attached to it. Change!

Sometimes, God uses the words or actions of our enemies to correct us. If we are wise, we will accept constructive correction rather than take offence. All things work together for good to those who love God and live according to His purpose.

Instead, we conclude that people are jealous of us and refuse to accept correction where it is needed. As a result, we may die in ignorance without making the necessary changes in our character.

Sometimes, friends see our weaknesses and bring them to our attention, but instead of accepting their correction, we begin to keep malice with them. Rather than mending our ways, we cut off relationships that may have been bridges to our destination in God.

Some desire financial breakthrough, yet their attitude towards money is questionable. You cannot neglect your responsibilities at home and still expect God to give you financial breakthrough. You must change!

Sometimes, when you are under spiritual attack, examine your inner circle and ask yourself whether you have unknowingly opened a door through which the enemy has gained access because of ignorance or negligence.

All forms of immorality can become a form of slavery. If you are tired of being a hewer of wood and a fetcher of water for your mates, change your ways. Do not sell your body in exchange for food or temporary satisfaction.

You cannot escape such slavery unless genuine change takes place. Sin leads to bondage, both physically and spiritually.

You want to reign with princes and princesses, but the garment of slavery must first be removed and replaced with the garment of royalty. You must move from the servant’s quarters into the palace.

No one has the power to permanently keep another person in bondage. You allow sin to dominate you when you deliberately choose the way of iniquity over the way of holiness.

Greed can tie a person to poverty and affliction, while sin ties a person to bondage. Christianity without a change of character becomes mere religion. This is what many practise today. They study the Scriptures, but they do not come to the right knowledge of the truth, even though Jesus said, “You shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.”

Let the wicked forsake his ways and return to God. Then we will discover that God is faithful enough to fulfil His promises in our lives.

Gluttony is a sin whose destructive power many Christians do not acknowledge. Whatever you consume that endangers your life needs to be eliminated.

No one has the power to change himself. The more people try to change through their own strength, the more they may indulge in destructive habits. That is why Jesus desires to draw us closer to Himself. The closer we are to Him, the farther we are from whatever seeks to destroy us.

The farther you are from Him, the closer you are to the pit. No wonder those who are far from His saving grace tend to destroy themselves slowly through things that are toxic to their system.

Change! Examine yourself. Accept correction. Return to God, and allow His Word to transform your life before it is too late.
