Gen 4:7 ( If thou doest well, shall thou not be accepted? And if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him)

God gave Adam the power of dominion at creation, he gave Adam the authority to rule and subdue, everything created was under his feet.

They failed to utilize the power and they came under the power of sin.

God doesn’t want this kind of legacy to continue so he came on time to warn their offspring of the power of sin that is lying at his doorstep, ready to enter if a chance is given, but he told Cain to rule over him, (for sin is a personality under the control of the devil).

Cain despised the Lord’s commandments and fell like his parents and ended up multiplying the curse of God that was raging over his parents.

This is how the devil takes control over humanity and rules their lives for his own gain.

Sin is always lying at the door of every believer, Until we take control of it we won’t be able to control the aftermath.

This results in confusion that evades the world including believers who want to take control of their negative situation but are not ready to rule over the power of sin that is operating in their lives.

Satan is the accuser of the brethren, he brings temptation and waits for you to fall, and after he will be the one to accuse you before God and bring you perpetually under his control.

If we continue in sin no grace covers it, it is the judgment upon judgment that will cover the life of a sinner and won’t allow him to move forward in life, not to talk of overcoming his negative circumstances.

We want to rule and reign amid our enemy, Have we thought about the power that prevents us from the throne of dominion?

The lady that annoyed you and you’re thinking of taking vengeance on her, that’s the power that doesn’t want you to have dominion.

Vengeance belongs to God, Taking revenge results in taking the place of God, This gives Satan authority to rule over us.

That man in your place of work who is troubling you for an unholy relationship is the sin that is lying at your door, ready to take the power of your dominion and let you suffer under demonic torture.

Jesus Christ told Peter, “Peter, Satan wants to have you but I prayed for you”.

This is exactly what Satan is planning for every believer to destroy their testimony in the sight of God and men, he wants to have them and rule over their souls to dictate the course of their life.

If you give Satan a chance he will take chances from you, and if you try to give him your hand, he will take over the whole body.

That is why the Bible says, Give no chance to the devil, he is our adversary roaring like a lion, looking for who to devour, he can only devour those who open the door for him to invade their lives.

The power of a Christian is to rule over the flesh, the essence of sin, If the flesh can’t control you, you already gain dominion over the activities of your enemy.

You will have power over witches and wizards in your territory, for Jesus Christ says, The prince of this world came but found nothing in me.

Let that one be your testimony to the world and to the brethren and shame the power that wants to put you to shame.

By opening the door for that sin lying at their doorpost, many Christians lose their authority in the kingdom.

They can’t control the influence of Satan over their works and their marital lives, even their dream life is bombarded with the activities of the devil.

The spirit of masturbation that is knocking which they open their door, has resulted in opening the door for Satan to empty their lives of good and godly things.

Satan overcame Adam and his wife, but still wants to continue the operations in the life of their children by tempting Cain to hate his brother to the extent of killing him.

After he killed him what is the gain, It is not that he inherited Abel’s properties, but only multiplied the curses that followed his parents.

There is nothing good about falling into temptation, it’ll only result in demotions and a journey back to square one in life.

Sin always lies at the door, If you can’t control it, it will surely control you, It’s either you become his slave or you become its master.

That is what turned many Christians to the slaves of sin, locked inside the satanic prison of the souls, They’re seeking a way out but not ready to repent and change their ways.

Jesus Christ has redeemed us from the power of sin and destroyed its dominion over us through his blood, he gave us power to overcome it which is the grace that was released in abundance, Unfortunately, many trample on that grace and become slaves once again.

All these worldly fashions released by Satan to the world are to hold us captive one more time.

We try to follow the world and dare not to be different, we neglect the cry of the Spirit by falling into the temptation that is lying at our door.

That is why many of us become captives to marine spirit and give spiritual husband power to mesmerize our life and turn us into sex slaves to the powers of darkness.

Our spirit is crying for freedom, but our souls were pleased with slavery and bondage thereby making us remain perpetually under the powers of darkness.

If you don’t take dominion over that sin, it will lead you into captivity.

It depends on your choice, The Son of God won’t make you free if you don’t choose freedom.

Your choice is not to permit sin to rule over you, Take control now before it gains permanent control.
