Mark 8:29 ( And he said unto them, but whom say he that I am? And Peter answered and saith unto him, Thou art Christ.)

Jesus’ name is the most powerful and popular among the heathens and the Christians; it’s not only to acknowledge him but the position he takes in your life and what you think him to be that matters.

Jesus Christ asked his disciples, who do men say that I am?
Some said he was John the Baptist, and some called him Elijah or one of the prophets.

Then he asked the disciples who do you say that I am?

It’s not what people call him to be that matters to your conviction; it’s what you know him to be that matters.

This is important; they may call him different names and acknowledge him to be a different personality, but what he is to you is the most important thing about your faith.

In this generation, many sayings concerning Jesus Christ; some even use his name for miracles, and some acknowledge him as a great prophet.

The Muslims acknowledge him to be a good man and one of God’s prophets, but they never acknowledge him as the son of God, not to talk of God in human form.

They may believe him to be what he is in their deranged mind, but what he is matters to every man’s faith.

If it’s all who acknowledge him are going to make heaven and also be with him in paradise, almost the whole world will go to heaven.

It’s not what you believe him to be that matters but what he is really to you; if your belief is not in line with his mission and who he is, you believe in error that won’t save your soul from the coming destruction.

Even the thief by his side on the Cross believes him to be the savior of the world, That is why he sought his assistance while dying, and it was granted to him immediately.

A Christian was arguing with me about the personality and divinity of Christ that he is the son of God but not God.

She may be going to Church and praying in Jesus’ name, but her salvation depends on what she made him to be, not on praying to him.

There is no way that that kind of belief won’t affect her relationship with Jesus Christ; if you don’t believe that he is God, there is no way you won’t worship things more than the real God.

If you don’t acknowledge him as God, there is no way you will respect his word and honor him as God; something will still take the place of God if you don’t allow him to have his proper position in your life.

Those who know him to be a good man will surely search for God to worship outside of Christ, that is the essence of idolatry in the house of God, as they don’t respect him as God, surely they will manufacture God out of their depraved imagination to take the place of Jesus and he will remain as their errand boy that’ll bring their request to the God they believe.

Who is Jesus Christ to you?

Many don’t respect him in this generation because of what they made him be; if you don’t accept him as Lord, hardly will you allow him to dictate your move and have a say in your behavior.

Those who know him as a savior but do not acknowledge him as Lord will only pray to him for deliverance from earthly problems, but they are not ready to follow his Word as their Lord.

That is why you see Christians fasting and praying. They can do a year-long vigil to seek his face, but when it comes to doing it God’s way, they become angry.

Jesus Christ asked, Who do you say I am?

Then Peter answered, thou art the Christ”.

The Jews know him as a carpenter, the son of Mary, and brother to James and Jose; they do not know him as the Lord and Saviour and never call him that for once.

This is what led to his persecution and his death, not knowing that he is the one whose power was given to overcome death and the power of the grave through his death.

That is the belief that holds everything together in Christianity; to believe in him as Christ is to put your faith in his deaths and resurrection that he will raise you in the end if you surrender to Him in this life.

To believe that he is the Christ is to believe in his divinity and his humanity; he is God, and he is man, who died for you to be free forever from the shackles of Satan.

This is what the world needs to know to come out of their idolatry; they need to know this so they can put their eternal hope in his resurrection.

Most Christians remain in their foolish conviction, for they’re yet to accept Christ the way he is, so they try to create another Jesus from their depraved imagination that’ll condone their unrepentant nature.

Jesus Christ never attended a funeral, and there was no relationship between life and death; when he saw a dead person, he tried to bring him back to life; that is the effect of who he is.

If you know him to be the life, you will surrender your life to him so that he will keep it safe with him till the day of Judgement and Satan won’t have access to it.

This is the time that those who are in the spiritual grave will hear his voice, and they will live; his voice is what brings life to the dead.

A Christian that remains in the graveyard of destiny is yet to identify him as the resurrection and life; the day they know him to be their life, that’s when they shall be quickening out of the spiritual grave, and the power of death and Satan will lose their hold.

All the truth about Christ as you know him to be is ready to manifest; the more the truth about his identity is revealed, the more your freedom from satan’s clutches is certain.

The day you know him as the provider is the day you’re coming out of poverty, and the day you make him your healer is the day you are free from the diseases of Egypt.

God wants to reveal himself; it depends on whether your mind can comprehend it; your inner mind expands through the word of God, and the more you grow in your knowledge of him, the more he manifests himself to the glory of his name.

The truth about who Jesus is is hidden from the world; Christ is what belongs to their peace; there is no peace in the world, they wallow in darkness because they wouldn’t agree with Jesus Christ’s divinity.

They keep on searching for a way when they refuse to follow the true way that was revealed in Jesus Christ.

If you don’t agree with Jesus Christ for what he stands for, you’re working against him, no matter what you know him to be.

Demons know him as God, and they tremble, but they never acknowledge him as the LORD; they always compete with him in dominion and authority, and that’s why they will remain in perpetual damnation.
