Taking on the cross daily is dying to the flesh every day; always be with your instrument of death to answer the call when it’s time to pay the sacrifice of your soul on divine altar.
Christians shouldn’t be afraid of death; rather, they should live each day as if it’s their last.
A Christian was unjustly humiliated inside a bus. People around told him to avenge such humiliation by slapping the man back, but this man insisted that his hand was already nailed to the cross, and he couldn’t use it for violence.
If your body is on the Cross, you won’t use it for immorality; if your leg is hanging with Christ, you won’t take it to where you’ll be implicated.
Mouth that is on the Cross won’t be used for backbiting or ridiculing others who don’t belong to the kingdom or who are inside and won’t lie against each other.
It won’t propagate matters beyond proportion; it’s the whole body that’s needed on the Cross, whichever area you refused shall become the stronghold of the powers of darkness where their ammunition is situated.
Deadman doesn’t feel pain. It’s either you die to the things of the world, and lustful desire, or you die to the things of God and remain in the congregation of the dead.
No one is on a middle ground in the battle of life. Whoever lives for the flesh is dead to the things of God, and their carnal mind can’t comprehend the things of heaven.
Likewise, who died to the world is alive to God; his flesh is inactive to participate in things that will bring shame to the name of Christ.
Dead in Christ don’t live for amusement or entertainment, for they’re buried with Christ; the life they live is God’s, not their own.
No one can kill them, for they have already died, and their life is hidden in Christ Jesus.
Whoever lives for himself does not truly live. That is why we need to crucify ourselves at Calvary to be able to live for God’s purpose and the benefit of humanity.
This is the reason we are created, and the purpose of our regeneration is to impact lives and bring them to live a fulfilled life inside God….to be continued
