John 8:36 ( If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed)

There is a difference between being religious and being spiritual. A religious person seeks their own way to worship God, but God is seeking those who’ll worship Him in spirit and in truth.

A religious man can’t worship God in spirit and in truth, Jesus came to transform us from religion to spirituality where true worshippers will worship the way God want.

The Pharisees were religious, their law could only deal with outside appearance not inwardly, its the poor of the society who become their victims, have you ever heard where the rich among them were accused?

That is the spirit of religion, the spirit of holier than thou, they catch only the poor but the rich among them go scot free.

The woman caught in adultery was brought to Jesus because it was one of them that had intercourse with her, can a woman commit adultery by herself, where did they hide the man?

Religious people won’t see log that covers their own eyes, they are quick to cast aspiance against others, trying to remove the specks of other’s eyes, this is the exactly what is going on in other religion of the earth, they made the law to oppress the less privileges, their law won’t catch the rich among them but the poor, shariah is a typical example of religious law made in favour of the high and mighty of the society to oppress.

Have you ever heard that they arrest the rich among them? The rich stole billions of naira, but it’s the hand of the one who stole the goat that they’ll cut.

Their leaders raped and molest the less privileged, abuse little ones while committing sodomy with little boys that were kept with them, but their law is not against it.

Since they have been arresting adulterers, I have yet to see a single man arrested with them, they all committed it themselves, this is one of the errors of religion.

This is exactly what Pharisees did in the time of our lord Jesus, the one who came to meet Jesus in the night and defended him in their midst was spared but they cast out a blind man from the Synagogue.

The rich man who took the corpse of Jesus to his grave was never arrested but they arrested the disciples and jailed them.

No one is religious and perfect in God’s sight, they see the fault in others but they won’t see their own, no wonder Jesus told them to judge themselves before judging others.

A religious man is always right in his own eyes while condemning others who act the same, their eyes have been programmed to see others’ faults not themselves.

Jesus Christ wants total transformation from religious to spiritual, the veil must be removed by the circumcision of the heart by going to Calvary to have the heart transform.

You’ll know if they’re yet to visit the cross by their actions, that is why He desires the worshipper of God to worship him in spirit and in truth, this is a spiritual elevation for those who believe in the lord Jesus Christ, from carnality to spirituality.

Religious men honour God with their mouth but their heart is far from God , most Christians today are more religious than being spiritual, you should check yourself if the lord you claim to serve is the one who is directing your footsteps.

Whoever claims that his church is the only church that’s rapturable is a religious bigot, they have limited God with their imagination as if God can be caged.

A Christian who can’t act in love towards fellow believers is religious, love is the language of a spiritual person which all Christians understand and must exhibit throughout the earth.

Love is the language of heaven, Christians who can’t speak it are religious beyond human imagination and the spirit of adoption can’t be given to them.

The lord of all religions is the devil, he created religion for his own gain, he is the controller of the religious world, Jesus called the Pharisees children of the devil because they have the same character, they exhibit hatred to the one sent by God, they hate the truth which was sent to set them free from the slavery of religion.

They see Christ but blindfold themselves and do not acknowledge the truth, but pretend to see, which is why their sins remain unforgiven.

Religion closes one’s eyes from seeing the truth, unless the veil is removed the yoke can’t be broken.

Religion devoid of the love which brings man to perfection in God, they can’t love God perfectly, nor can they love any man as themselves since love personified is yet to find its way into their heart.

Religious people are selfish in nature, since their flesh is yet to be crucified and their hearts yet to receive circumcision.

Religious men can’t make heaven since they seek God in their own way not the way God desire all humanity to seek him, they crafted their own ways of seeking God not the way revealed in the Bible and turn it into witchcraft, the spirit of rebellion before God.

There are two examples of this in the Bible. Cain and Abel, Cain was a religious man who sacrificed without blood, but Abel was a spiritual man who offer blood sacrifice before God and his sacrifice was accepted while Cain was rejected, which made him end up killing his brother.

The offerings of religious men lack the elements of blood atonement, they killed a cow or goat to appease God’s favour, while neglecting the sacrifice of the blood of Jesus Christ that was shed and also approved by God to make man pure and perfect before God.

They offered their righteousness as an offering while neglecting the righteousness of Christ, the garment of the saints that’ll make them appear in the marriage supper of the lamb.

Remember the sons of Aaron who brought strange fire to the altar while neglecting the way of God to provide fire on His altar, they were killed before the lord, God cannot be mocked, he won’t let anyone drag his name in the mud, those who dishonour his word and despise his way won’t go unpunished.

It’s either you bow under his will or be on the wrong side, the choice is yours, you can’t serve him the way you want, it’s only the way he wants and how it’s revealed in his word.

Prayer: Father lord remove the veil of darkness from my eyes, let me see you the way you are in Jesus name amen.
