THE CALL Part 1

I heard about a man of God who God sent to stand at the gate of a town and stop an evil spirit that was about to transport sickness into the town, will you answer that calling if money is not involved?

A man of God is the one who rises at any moment of the day to answer thus saith the LORD.

Call and the gifts of God are without repentance, many are called but few are chosen, it’s the chosen among the call that God will give an assignment.

It’s the person whom the father taught and came over to Jesus that he will commission to preach his gospel and set captives free from the shackles of satan.

How are the mighty fallen and the weapons of war perish, lack of discipline has disqualified many Christians from following after God, they dumped their weapon of warfare at the feet of the devil to chase the wind and toys.

Lack of endurance and patience has made Christians abandon their calling to become photocopies of others who have gone far in the ministry, or they can’t bow under the tutelage of the Holy Spirit before launching their net into the deep of the ocean of the world to catch fish.

God only use the man he trained, he passes them through fire and storms of afflictions to remove the dirt of sin till they reflect his image.

How do you represent Him when you’re only reflecting the image of his enemy?

Isaiah started his ministry just after the death of Uzziah, while ministering from the first chapter to the fifth, God was busy looking for the one he would send.

It’s when his tongue was purified with the coal from the altar of heaven that he was bold to represent God and go for him.

Job wasn’t a preacher but his life speaks of God’s mercy and goodness.

Can God boast of you that, “see my son, he won’t steal from the church purse even though he is hungry”?

Can God boast of you before Satan that this my son has made a covenant with his eyes that he won’t look lustfully at a lady who is not his wife?

Can God boast that you won’t add to the amount given you to secure a project?

If God can’t trust you in little things, how will he entrust you with greater things?

If you can’t manage another person’s ministry how will God entrust you with your own?

A man was ministering in a remote village with only one person in attendance for twelve years, before God increased him and multiplied his congregation.

Can you wait that much without seeking assistance from the power of darkness, just like King Saul who traded his leadership position to please men?

What will you do during the period of trials? Will your faith reduce or will you believe in the supremacy of God over every situation?

This is the time most Christians doubt their calling and bow for devil to obtain the glory of the world.

Miracles that are happening in your ministry are not the seal of your calling, God will always honour his name anytime it’s mentioned, but the seal of your calling is obedience to the word of God.

Prayer: Father lord, multiply your grace in my life, in Jesus name amen.
