True Love – Sermon By Arm of The Lord Christian Ministry

True love is divine, sacrificial, and unconditional, and can only be fully experienced through a relationship with Jesus Christ. This message explores how God’s love calls us to selflessness, obedience, and caring for others, showing the profound example of Christ on the Cross and inspiring us to reflect His love in every aspect of life.

John 15:13 (Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends)

No human on earth can truly love without the indwelling of the holy Spirit; it’s hard to find true love without conditions attached due to the despicable nature of mankind.

The love of Jonathan, son of King Saul, towards David was divinely inspired to fully establish David’s destiny.

Love of the opposite sex towards themselves is laced with lust and self with conditions attached, that is why you’ll see two people fall in love today, but will be at each other’s necks and start cursing themselves tomorrow.

True love is divine; it’s only those who have a relationship with Jesus Christ that can exhibit it without condition.

Satan doesn’t love, so neither do his agents. God is love, and love is the attribute that he shared with his creations in redemption.

The devil is controlling the world with fear, with oath and covenant, while the kingdom of God is operating in love. We serve God out of love, but Satanists serve the devil in fear; this is the difference.

Love between siblings is laced with envy and jealousy if they don’t know God; no wonder Joseph’s brothers sold him into slavery, and Jacob stole the birthright of his only brother.

Jesus Christ came to the world to show us true love. He displayed it on the Cross by hanging with his hands and legs nailed for the deliverance of the whole of humanity.

Love demands sacrifice; you don’t actually love whoever you can’t sacrifice your things for, not to mention sacrificing yourself for the betterment of others.

As Jesus loves us, He wants us to display it for our friends and enemies alike. We are to pray for those who curse us and bless those who hate and spitefully use and persecute us, for this is what we will be like and resemble our Father in heaven.

No amount of gifts or fruit you display if love is not found in you, you are not a real child of God, you might be wolves manifesting in the image of sheep.

If you don’t love God by giving all to him, how will you love your neighbor as yourself? And you can’t love God without loving your neighbors.

Whoever is acting in love towards their neighbors without the love of God in them is doing it in hypocrisy.

They had a hidden motive behind their actions, which God will expose at the appointed time.

You can’t love your brother and be envious of him, the presence of envy in a heart shows the absence of love.

If the love of God dwells in your heart, you won’t make a mockery of sinners around you; all you’ll wish for them is salvation, and pray for their deliverance from the stronghold of darkness.

There was a man who loved God to the extent that it turned to persecution from the enemy’s side, and that one man decided to kill his only son to taunt his faith.

When the people of the community caught the man they decided to kill him by hanging, but they wanted to seek the man’s opinion first.

When the man heard it, he told them not to kill him because he wanted to adopt the man as his son and show him the love he couldn’t allow to show his real son.

He said What will he gain if a life is wasted because of him.

How many of us can exhibit that kind of love? The heart that seeks vengeance lacks love; that is why God forbids us from taking vengeance, for it belongs to God.

Where would we have been if God had decided to pay us with our own coins and refused to die on the Cross?

Where would we have been if Christ had decided to think only of himself and his welfare and refused to be arrested?

What would have happened if Christ escaped the torture of the Cross and called the legions of angels to fight on his behalf?

What would have happened to humanity if Christ had refused to go into the grave and free the captives there?

He thought not of himself but of the whole of mankind before carrying their sin to the cross and dying there.

He thought not of the mockery and agony of the Cross before he decided to die for you and me.

He thought not of humiliation and shame when the soldier slapped his face for doing nothing, a creature disgracing his Creator.

Who among men can achieve all this if not the love personified?

How do we replicate this if not by loving him and giving our lives to him in return?

We need to serve the one who paid for our redemption with his blood.

How do we replicate this if we don’t love him in return and also love the humans he died for?

He released all that was in his body for the benefits of mankind, the last pint of his blood and water was shed for our redemption.

How do we meet his expectations if we failed to sacrifice what was deposited in us to save souls from hell?

Satan doesn’t have anything to give humanity; he can’t be forgiven, so also he can’t forgive; he doesn’t receive mercy, so how will he be merciful?

He give what he has, sorrow, afflictions, and sickness, includes death and perdition, that is all what he got and he is ready to share it with his followers, no wonder he asked his followers to do what makes them detestable in God’s sight, for he himself is abominable to God and shall be cast into hell, so he is gathering men that will go with him to his final destination because he doesn’t also want to go there alone.

It’s the love of God that can save humanity from this damnation, if you trample on that love, where will you end up in your life?

You will love in error if you don’t have the love of God at heart, that is how some people are blessed who the Lord has cursed and transferred the curses to themselves, because they are not in line with God and wouldn’t understand his reasons.

True love rebukes and reprimands when one erred, it corrects and makes judgment to deliver man from the bondage of his enemy.

It’s the love of God that kills and makes alive. He condemned some souls to hell because of his love for them and the whole human race, for if he keeps them alive, they will be an obstacle to another person’s progress in the knowledge of God.

You can’t say you love God and fiddle with what he hates, you are only invoking his wrath that will consume all disobedience and the sinners involved.

You can’t say you love your child and give him what will kill him; there are things we are asking from God that he won’t give until we reach the maturity to use them.

Had some people gotten rich before they knew the usefulness of it, they would have squandered it in irrelevant things and even used it to damage their bodies and cut short their lives.

Prayer: Father Lord, put your love in my heart, and let me love my neighbors the way you love me, in Jesus’ name amen
