Are Your Sins Forgiven?

Luke 5:23 (Whether is easier to say, thy sin be forgiven or rise up and walk?)

Jesus Christ was telling his accusers and asked them, “which one is easier to say, Is it that your sin is forgiven thee or rise up and walk?”

Definitely it’s more easier to say rise up and walk than to say your sins are forgiven, because it’s not all who receive healing and deliverance have their sins forgiven.

This question indicates that someone can receive miracle with signs and wonder and his sins still remain intact, or someone may preach and perform wonders in the name of Jesus and his sin still not forgiven.

God delivered them and many were used by God because He wouldn’t want His sacred name to be dragged in the mud.

Many had mistaken deliverance or answered prayers to being in the right side of God; when you ask some people to mend their ways and get to the right side of God, they will tell you that, if God doesn’t love me, He wouldn’t have given me what I asked for; not knowing that His love for humanity doesn’t guarantee forgiveness if human beings don’t want it.

The miracle they received and still continue in disobedience against the law of God will stand as testimony against them on the day of judgment.

It’s not all who go to church that receives forgiveness, it’s not all who started well that ended it well, because they’re yet to be forgiven and this turned them back to the world. Instead of pressing forward to Calvary, where their sins will be wiped out and they’ll be justified in the presence of God.

The Bible says, the race is not for the swift neither the battle for the strong, it’s those who endure to the end that shall be saved.

There are many things that is standing against our justification before God that if care is not taken, many Christians will remain as servants forever, waiting for adoption they’ll never received to enter their glorification before they died.

There are people that kept someone in the bondage of their mind, refused to let them go by not forgiven them, just because of past disagreement between both of them, which led to grudges and malice. If they refused to forgive these people, definitely they won’t be forgiven by God.

If as a Christian, you didn’t forgive your enemy, your heavenly father won’t forgive you; even praying for our enemies and bless those who persecute us requires forgiveness on our sides. No matter the position you’re holding in the church or how many souls you’ve won for Christ, if you refuse to follow divine rules, God will not forgive you.

Many will be disappointed on that day, when they’ll see that there sin is still crying for vengeance against them before the judgement seat.

Some people’s sin reached the throne of God before them, while some people sins followed them at the back, waiting to accuse them before the throne of judgement .

It’s genuine repentance that brings forgiveness.
Turning back from wicked ways is what makes the face of God shine on one. The reason many are still languishing in pain and agony of sin while working for God is because they are not truly repentant.

Humans may see without but God sees the heart and judge by what is going on in the heart.

Those who practiced outward Christianity but inwardly they’re different thing entirely can’t be expecting forgiveness from God.

Those who still exalt the work of darkness while claiming to serve God can’t be forgiven, you can’t continue in your sin and pray the grace of God to multiply.

It’s only the blood of Jesus that can wipe away every sin, but if one has trampled on the blood, how will it perform it’s ancient work?

It’s a thing for God to use one as instruments in His vineyard, and it’s another thing for one to be used and dumped, believing that his name has entered the book of Life due to his service, not knowing that constant disobedience has erased his name before he died.

We need to strengthen our relationship with God with soberness and checking our lifestyle to reconcile with Him in whatever we have done wrong before we are called to give account of our deeds in the flesh.

It’s only Christians that have been to Calvary to dump their load of sin that got renewed through the power of the blood and guarantee was given to press forward to the presence of God.

It’s only at Calvary that sins can be forgiven, if you refuse to surrender to the slaying power of the cross and dumped everything that’s causing disagreement between you and God, it will be difficult to receive forgiveness and won’t be possible for you to make heaven.

Heaven is for people whose sin has been wiped and receive the new life of God, and the garment of righteousness is given.

There are some signs that manifest if sins are yet to be forgiven, which many Christians don’t take cognizant of, the odour of their sin will attract demons into their life to make it miserable; due to the curses related with it which are yet to be broken despite the prayers and deliverance season.

There is no way God will forgive you and you will still be battling with carry over of curses and bondage; and there is no way God will forgive you and will still keep the sorrow that accompany your sin intact.

The sin God has forgiven can’t be remembered again, why will He keep things that will make you remember it intact?

There are problems associated with every sin man is committing. Even if you give your life to God, some might go, and some might stay till you have been to Calvary to receive the cleansing of the blood; but it’s unfortunately that Christians take those ones as the cross they must bear, instead of working towards its removal to obtain absolute cleansing.

God cannot be mocked, whatever a man sow he shall reap, but by the cleansing power of the blood and by total surrender to the power of the cross, He is ready to remove all obstacles cause by sin and give sinner a new beginning in Him.

This is what we are all waiting for, justification that’ll lead to glorification and will lead to our acceptance in the presence of our Father in heaven.

Prayer: I surrender my self to the slaying power of your cross, removed anything in me that’s working against my advancement in the kingdom of God in Jesus name amen.
