When a Deliverer Needs Deliverance highlights the vital truth that no one can lead others out of bondage while still trapped in sin, compromise, or spiritual weakness. God requires His vessels to be purified, empowered, and spiritually prepared before taking on the responsibility of freeing others. This message exposes hidden dangers, false deliverance, and the necessity of personal crucifixion before effective ministry can begin.

What they called sin in those days is what we celebrate in the church as a new life.

What God called sin thousands of years ago is still sin till heaven and earth pass away, what he termed abominable in the time of Noah is still abominable in his sight in this generation. God is the Ancient of Days; He will never change, nor His Word, which is settled forever in heaven.

A minister who celebrates what is detested by God will become detestable in His sight; that is why God only used a vessel that He had passed through the fire of purification and had sanctified for the use of heaven.

Most Christians see the way of sin as natural, so they don’t need help to get out.

There are deliverance ministers who still keep malice, there are many of them who still envy and suffer from the spirit of Jealousy in the church. If they are caged with the spirit of “it doesn’t matter”, how will they deliver people from the way of the world?

Jesus Christ anointed his disciples to go to all nations and deliver people from the stronghold of darkness, but asked them to tarry first in Jerusalem to be empowered from heaven, for the flesh and blood can’t do the work of the spirit.

Most of us are yet to tarry in our Jerusalem before launching out to catch big fish; we are yet to be empowered from heaven before we decide to fight on behalf of people in captivity of Satan.

Had Peter never tarried in Jerusalem he would have denied Jesus Christ the second time as they arrested him and put him in prison.

This is how most church workers are selling their birthright and their purpose in the kingdom for a morsel of bread, for they venture into God’s work before receiving anointing to function effectively.

We are eager to work for him, but not ready to wait on him; we are not ready to wait in the quarry ground to be fashioned and grafted into the divine image.

Gold that is hidden in the earth will have its beauty covered with dirt, it’s not until it passes through the fire of purification that it’ll remove the dirt and be ready to be displayed in the market square.

A deliverance minister who is yet to go to the place of crucifixion and have his flesh buried there is not competent to take people out of bondage.

Accuser is standing at his right hand to bring his sin to remembrance before God, and the latter end of the man may be worse than the former.

Someone who is delivering captive and asked her to remove her pants in the presence of the congregation needs deliverance also from the spirit of lust; if care is not taken, that is how he will infect his congregation with the same spirit without them knowing it till the time it starts manifesting in full force.

I remember many years ago when I came to Lagos and found myself in a deliverance ministry; this man who called himself a deliverance minister would call the girls and start putting his hand in their private parts, I don’t know what kind of deliverance is that but all I know that time is that it was repulsive.

The devil penetrates into the family of his enemy to use them against them in the future. If God isn’t on your side, who will plead on your behalf and on behalf of your family?

Jesus Christ wants to remove every element of the flesh so that you will be able to operate in the spiritual and raise you up over the principalities and powers.

This world is fully infested with demons, it’s only who belong to the Lord’s side that will escape attack.

It’s in the image of Jesus Christ you can perform your spiritual tasks, that is what Satan sees in you and take his leave, it’s when our obedience is complete that we can subject other powers under the authority of Christ and challenges all disobedience to work in the will of God, and be able to bind the strongman and release all the souls in his captivity.
