John 18:37 ( Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king? Jesus then answered thou sayest that I’m a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth hears my voice)

Jesus Christ clarified his mission on earth, which is supposed to be the mission of every Christian who is identified with his name.

Jesus Christ is the Truth of God, which is revealed in the Word of God as the truth; it’s that truth he came as a witness and gave us a mandate to do so as his representative.

We are witnesses to the truth of God that testified to his goodness by his death and resurrection and bring all men back to God in repentance.

Everyone who belongs to this truth will always like to hear and listen to our voice as divine oracles.

The people of the truth love to hear testimony about it, if you don’t like to listen to the word of God or the testimony of Christ, you’re not of the truth.

The evidence of being with Christ is that you’ll love to know the truth that’ll preempt your spiritual man to walk toward perfection.

You’re not in a position to witness for Christ when your character is not following the truth; how can your dress and character be against his word, and you are testifying on his behalf?

This only signifies that you are not of the truth, which makes you a liar, for God can not lie. It’s human beings that turn themselves into liars because of what they will eat and drink.

A witness to the truth must live the truth; someone who’s living a lie and doesn’t want to be corrected is far from the truth that can set men free; how can you live your life in lies and still want the truth to give you freedom?

When you preach and evangelize, you are a witness to the truth; your way of life is a witness, whether it’s against or not, it depends on your side of that truth.

The Bible says that whoever is not against us is on our side; you need to check the position you’re to the truth before your sin finds you, and the truth will stand to condemn you in the end.

If you’re on the Lord’s side, you need to live according to his teaching. That’s when your witness will be valid before God and men.

Christians who refuse to live the word are just deceiving themselves; if they refuse to repent, their sin will find them out, and men will know that they have been working against the truth all this while and are teaching men to do so.

Your character is your witness and also your way of life; you can’t be worldly and expect men to learn the truth from you; worldliness and spirituality are on different terrains.

Some Christians’ ways of life are their open secret allegiance to the forces of darkness; it shows that they’re against the truth that the Lord came to reveal
As they refuse to hear the truth and obey it, it shows that they’re not of the truth; it’s only those who belong to the truth that listen and follow it.

Pilate asked Jesus what is the truth?

But he never received an answer, and the answers were not revealed to pilates.

Had he known the truth that was standing before him, he wouldn’t have died in his confusion, but it’s only those who are of the truth that can hear Jesus Christ speaking.

But he was revealed to the thief at his side on the Cross and that one is saved.

This is the truth Christ wants us to witness, Jesus Christ is standing at the market square of life, we are his witness to the heathens and unbelievers, it’s our testimony and our character that’ll prove it to draw many near his Cross, this the reason we are born and the reason for our redemption, to bear witness to the truth and save many souls from destruction.

Christ didn’t reveal himself to the Pharisees and the lawyers as they were eager to know who he was, but their motives were not right with God.

But he went straight to the well at Sychar to reveal who he was to the woman with five husbands, and by this, this woman went to the town and proclaimed him for men to come and see.

This is our testimony; as he reveals himself to us, we should go and tell others who Jesus is because everybody ought to know.

This doesn’t exempt any gender; man or woman must put a hand in God’s business to reveal the savior of the world and his sacrifice.
