FIRST AND FOREMOST
Matthew 6:33 ( But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you)
The condition of receiving things from God has already been analyzed in His Word, but unfortunately, men have turned it upside down; they want to seek benefits first before seeking the kingdom.
This was what a woman told me during a discussion, she said, God supposed to put it that way, instead of Him saying we should first seek the kingdom, that this would have been better for humanity, then I asked her Will you change the ordinances of God because of your carnal desire?
That was how the woman organized prayer vigils in a church where the name of Christ is prohibited but only the most high must be mentioned for the prayer to be answered, who is then at the receiving end if it is not the devil.
They love the benefits of the kingdom and the fruit of his righteousness but they don’t want anything with his kingdom nor his righteousness.
That is why they organized a program that resembles that of Christ but lacks the presence of God in it.
God can never change nor will his Word, for he is the same yesterday, today, and forever, so also his Word.
The first things a man who love God must do is to seek His kingdom, the people of the world seek only one thing, and that is the pleasure of the body, foods the drinks, and clothing and neglect the needs of their souls, they don’t know that the body won’t follow them afterlife, it shall go back to the ground where it was formed, but the souls will last for eternity.
They are not mindful of the condition of their souls because they’re yet to be regenerated to live after the desire of the spirit.
All their desire is to please the flesh and satisfy their wants which will finally ruin their souls in the end.
The desire of the children of God after experiencing the power of redemption must be the opposite of the world’s desires.
They must be different by seeking the heartbeat of God which is the kingdom, how it will expand and bring more souls to the kingdom, by depopulating the kingdom of hell, and opening the eyes of the blind to see the reality of their souls without Christ, this is evangelism.
To propagate the gospel at the expense of their life, because they are saved to save others.
The business of the kingdom is the business of all, and that is the reason Christ died and the reason for his resurrection, a grain of corn fell into the ground to produce more of his likeness.
No one can pass short shortcut to enter his kingdom or obtain things from him like most of us do these days.
We don’t want to have anything to do with the order of the Kingdom, this is the essence of most vigils and prayers, many organize prosperity messages to attract those who want short cut, they have passed the way of the world by seeking prosperity without going through the way of the kingdom.
Truly, the prosperity of the kingdom is different from the prosperity of the world, likewise, the righteousness of the kingdom, including the greatness many of us seek after is not in line with how God defines it.
It is when you decrease that Jesus Christ will increases in you.
We want greatness by lording it over others, to exercise authority over the heritage of God, and to decide their destiny by placing them under man’s doctrine and not Christ’s.
We want to prosper by neglecting our responsibility to the kingdom of God and bowing to the desire of the enemy.
We want deliverance without passing through the deliverance of our souls from sin, which led the greedy followers of Christ to establish deliverance ground for those who need it desperately without passing through the way of the Cross.
That is why witches and wizards with familiar spirits bombarded the church of God to become deliverance ministers, leading people to the way of the world and finally submit their souls to hell.
Seek ye first the kingdom of God, this is the word from our Master’s mouth, and his righteousness, this is the commandments from the Lord of hosts.
The righteousness of God is the Lord Jesus Christ, whoever desires all these things must focus on him to get to where his soul desires.
Apostle Paul said, “that I may know him and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his suffering “.
This also should be our greatest desire on earth to know him intimately and to experience the power of his resurrection from the graveyard of destiny by listening to the voice of the resurrection and the life, and come out from where we have been buried spiritually that prevents us from seeing the light of his Word.
The righteousness of God is Jesus Christ, whoever wants to appear before Him to possess his possession must be presented in Christ, to become his likeness.
That is what God sees in us and gives us our heritage in Him.
You can’t get to God with your own righteousness because it’s already corrupted by the flesh, it’s like a filthy rag in his sight.
The people of the world can’t pass through this, so they take short shortcut to eat from crumbs that fell from the table of the children.
This is what those who pass through the short shortcut can receive from him, they may be healed but not whole, the wholeness of the children of God is the Christ in us, the hope of our glory.
Without Christ there is nothing you obtain that will remain permanent, The devil will come to check your heart if it’s still empty so that he can reinforce it with his demons to make your later end worse than the beginning.
Don’t let this generation’s preachings get to you, they offer the pleasure of the kingdom without taking you to the Cross, they give healing and deliverance from the works of the devil in exchange for your soul if the message of the kingdom and the righteousness of God isn’t involved.
