Your choice your destiny Part 1. Learn how sin, obedience, and repentance determine blessings or curses, and how to find forgiveness through Christ.

Deut 30:19 ( I call heaven and the earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death blessings and cursing: therefore choose life, that both you and thy seed may live)

God gave man power to choose since creation, when he said, thou must not eat the fruit in the midst of the garden, the fruit of knowledge of good and evil, and the day you eat out of it, thou shalt die, he gave the warning and also gave the consequences if they disobeyed.

Whatever happened to humanity after this is a result of their choice.

Each and every one has the power and ability to choose how they want their life to be. Our future depends on what we choose now, and eternity also depends on our choices on a daily basis.

We can’t choose hell through our negligence of the gospel and our behavior after redemption and still expect to spend eternity with God in heaven.

The gospel is preached, the seed of the word is sown, it remains for you to be receptive and assimilate what you have learned so that it may be well with your soul.

Whatever you planted at the foundation of your life is what you’ll reap in the future. When you examine how some lives are without God, you will know what their end will become; that is their choice.

If you choose not to believe in the word of God, it’s you who will face the consequences of your choice.

People in hell are facing the consequences of their choice which no man can take away from them, the day they chose not to believe in Jesus Christ is the day their destiny is sealed for destruction.

I remember a man on his deathbed that one man went to preach to, and this man said if Jesus won’t heal him he is not ready to accept him, unfortunately the man would have known the truth by now because he eventually died in his sin.

God has placed a choice before us, death and life, curses and blessings, it remains for you to choose between the two, God won’t force anyone but his desire is for you to choose what will favour your destiny and to remain blessed forever.

This is an edge that humanity has over all other creatures, they were made in the image of God and the power of choice was given unlike others who only do as God’s will and follow after his order.

The Bible says that, God who at sundry times and in divers manner spake in the time past unto the fathers by prophets, but in the last day spoke to us by his Son who he hath appointed heirs of all things, by whom also he made the world”.

He sent prophets which our father killed, and now he sent his only begotten Son believing they might choose him but in man’s wickedness they chose to crucify the Son, that is also their choice when they preferred a criminal above their saviour and chose Barabbas instead of Christ.

But they won’t be exempt from the coming judgment.

In these end times, God has been revealing many things to the saints, he took many people to the compartment of hell to experience the suffering there, believing they might change and choose the right path so they can be delivered from the coming destruction that is looming.

It now depends on you to believe what they said, after all Noah preached for hundreds of years while building the ark, but the people of his generation chose not to believe and made a jest of him, when the rain started and the flood covered the earth there was no option but for them to face the repercussions of their choice of unbelief.

Lot preached to his in-laws to get out of Sodom, they also made a jest of him saying he didn’t know what he was saying, but in the end, they were consumed by fire and brimstone from heaven.

As we humans have the right to choose, God also has the right to punish those who refuse to come to his side.

Man must reap whatever he sows, if you sow to the flesh you will reap corruption, but if you sow to the spirit you will reap eternal life.

Your actions in life invoke blessings or curses, you need to weigh your actions if you’re able to carry the consequences before you embark on them.

Lack of knowledge is what brought humanity to this stage and it is still our choice to remain adamant to what God has said, because we chose to listen to the voice of the enemy and neglect the voice of the man of Calvary.

Had we believed in what the Bible says about wayward life, and what is happening presently to those who live it, we would have chosen the right path that will be of benefit to our souls, but some don’t learned from others’ experience.

Some people are so bewitched to the extent that if God takes them to hell, they will still choose wrong even if they are given a second chance.

I know a woman who after listening to a confession of a satanic agent about jewelry, removed her earrings but later she still went back to her vomit and added makeup to it, These kinds of people won’t have any excuses if they are later damn to hell.

Many don’t know that they have chosen their destination the day they choose the path that’ll lead there, it’s not their expectations they’ll meet, even prayers and fasting won’t change it, except the Mercy of God speaks on their behalf and they later give their life to Christ to steer the vehicle of their life and surrender all at the feet of His Cross.

Now is the day of salvation, after death there is no repentance in the grave, as you lie on your bed you will lie on it.

Choice made according to the desire of the flesh can’t result in a good end, sometimes good choice may not be convenient but the end of it is worth it.

Jesus Christ isn’t popular, the kind of Jesus some people preached now that is acceptable to every dick and Harry is not the Jesus of Calvary.

Jesus that allowed you to go against the word of God and say it doesn’t matter is not the one who will give life, if you follow that kind of Jesus, I pity you, because the kind of heaven he will take you is not the heaven that nothing unclean shall enter.

Jesus who is accepted and celebrated by the world is not the one who was condemned to choose Barabbas, Jesus who is loved by the world because he accommodates discrepancy is not the Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

That’s why they chose Barabas instead of him, not because they love him but because they hate the truth, it is only the lovers of truth that will love Jesus Christ of Calvary and choose him above the pleasure of the world and its vain glory.

They will also choose him above the lies of the enemy and the glory of the world, it’s the lover of the real Jesus that will choose Christ above life itself.

Those who are led away by evil doctrine and led astray by false teachings chose what pleases their souls, it’s not by mistake that those who had known the truth and later deviated, it is what they have chosen all along, they know the truth but willingly chose lies and will definitely face the repercussions of their choices whether they like it or not.

If you’re traveling to Benin City and you go towards Ilorin and pass through Jebba, do you think you’ll get to your desired destination, brother unless you turn back and seek the way, you will get lost the more you accelerate your speed the more you’re lost.

You may choose your way but you don’t have the power to choose the destination.

There will be no excuse on the day of judgement, nothing like it’s someone that deceived me, Adam and Eve that were deceived by Satan weren’t forced to eat the fruit, Satan didn’t force it into their mouth, they analyzed it with their carnal mind and chose to follow Satan’s advice and disobeyed God.

The power of will can mislead if it is not properly submitted under the authority of Christ.

It’s only if we allow God to choose for us by following His Word and promises for our life, he will be at the receiving end of the choice he made for us and will lead us to the path that will lead to His presence.

His thoughts towards us are good and will lead us to the expected ending.
