WHEN THE STRONGMAN KEEPS HIS PALACE! 3

(POSSESS THE GATES OF YOUR ENEMY)

Genesis 22:17

«“That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the seashore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies.”»

The gate referred to in this passage represents the places where Satan has established his strongholds. The anointing to possess these gates and deliver humanity from satanic captivity has been given to the Seed of Abraham.

An angel declared in the Book of Revelation that the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, had prevailed to open the book and release its seals.

The Lion of the tribe of Judah became the Lamb, worthy to deliver humanity from the captivity of the enemy through the humility He demonstrated in overcoming the principalities and powers.

Since the beginning of creation, following the fall of humanity, Satan has been cast out of heaven and dispersed throughout the earth, the sea, the land, and the atmosphere. He positioned himself to rule over and exercise authority over human beings, who were created in the image of God.

Every nation was established under this influence, while God set apart the children of Israel to carry His mantle and serve as His representatives on the earth.

From that point, God began extending His dominion throughout the earth through the sacrifice of His Son’s blood.

He chose Abraham as His ambassador, entrusting him with the responsibility of training his descendants to follow His commandments.

The gates represent the palaces and strongholds established to control humanity, both then and now. The Lion of the tribe of Judah takes possession of these gates, drives the stranger from his hidden places, and rules over His enemies with a rod of iron.

He took the keys of hell and death from the devil and cast the prince of this world from his exalted position. Satan was cast down with no authority except that which is granted to him through humanity’s disobedience to the Word of God.

It is your decision whether you will invite Jesus Christ into your home and life to take possession of them and drive the destroyer out.

I remember a small town whose people were unbelievers who worshipped idols and masquerades. However, their king was a Christian who had given his life to Christ before becoming king.

He instructed the residents to remove the masquerade palaces at the entrance to the town because he intended to use the site to establish a company. The people complied.

After they demolished the structures dedicated to the masquerades, positive changes began to occur. A road whose construction had been halted for no apparent reason was completed, and network services that had previously been unavailable in the town began to function.

They did not realize that the strongholds of darkness at the entrance to their town, which they regarded as a form of protection, had become obstacles to the progress of their community.

That was the seat of darkness over them, the place from which the enemy influenced the course of their lives.

This is what Jesus came to do: to dislodge darkness and bring His light, which illuminates every dark place.

If He is given the opportunity, He dethrones the powers of darkness and establishes His kingdom in an individual life, a household, or a community. He provides a way forward, both spiritually and physically.

That is what He came to do: to open paths where there appears to be no way, cause water to spring forth in the wilderness, and prepare a way for His elect to reach their destination.

He came to possess the gates of His enemies by preparing the people who belong to Him to rule in the midst of their enemies and appointing them as His ambassadors over their territories.

Whichever door they open must be opened, and any door they close will remain closed forever.

He came to set captives free from bondage and release His children from the forces of darkness, calling them into His light.

Power is no longer in the hands of the devil. All authority in heaven and on earth belongs to Jesus Christ. Will you allow Him to take preeminence in your life and lead you to greater heights in Him?

The decision is yours. The choice you make today will affect both your life and your eternity. No one who has chosen Him has ever regretted knowing Him.

He came to bring division, with father against son, mother against daughter, and four against three. Those who belong to Him will rule over their enemies and possess their inheritance in God.

This will fulfill God’s plan from the beginning of creation for humanity to rule and exercise dominion over everything He created.

Has He taken over your household, even if only one or two people belong to Him?

His presence in the lives of those who belong to Him will illuminate the entire household and, over time, draw others to the Lord’s side. In the end, all glory will be given to His holy name.

A life conquered by Him comes under the authority of His Spirit. When He drives the stranger from his hidden place, He guides His people through the valley of the shadow of death and leads them throughout the journey of life until the end.

He conquered death and hell and swallowed them up in victory, so they will not have dominion over His children. He determines who dies and who lives, for the keys of death and hell are in His hands.

Prayer: Father lord, I surrender my life unto you; take absolute control in Jesus’ name. Amen.
