THE GREATEST MIRACLE 2

John 4:10 (Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.)

Jesus asked the woman for a drink, and the woman argued with Him that, being a Jew, He had no right to ask for water from her, a Samaritan woman, for the Jews had no dealings with the Samaritans.

Had the woman known who was speaking to her, had she known that He was God in human form asking her for a drink, she would have asked Him for what she thought was impossible.

The woman had an encounter with God that was not ordinary. Jesus asked her for water, which she refused. Then Christ told her that if she had known who was standing before her, she would have asked Him to give her the living water.

The greatest miracle is not to draw from the physical well but from the spiritual well that springs up into eternal life.

It is those who draw from this well that will never thirst again but shall have the water that springs up to everlasting life.

We are quick to judge by the physical, without considering the spiritual aspect of life. The greatest miracle is the joy of the angels in heaven when a soul is delivered from the shackles of darkness and receives a new life in God.

Do you want to be the reason the angels rejoice in heaven, rising to praise the living God and give glory to the Lamb?

The greatest joy in heaven is when the kingdom of darkness is depopulated, and the kingdom of God is populated and multiplied to the glory of God the Father.

There is joy in heaven when a soul repents, and a new man is born into the kingdom of God, just as there is joy on earth when a woman gives birth to increase the earthly population.

Ask yourself, are you bringing joy into the midst of the angels by repenting of your sins and turning from your old life to the new life in God?

The joy of heaven is different from the happiness of the world. You might be the richest man on earth and still bring sorrow to the heart of the saints.

You might study at Harvard University, be the most intelligent woman on earth, be married to the most successful man, and give birth to the most intelligent children, but if your name is not in heaven, you came into the world in vain. You become a source of sorrow to the kingdom of God and one who tramples upon the blood of the Lamb.

You only come to rule but never to conquer. You will regret ever coming into the world if you die without repentance.

Your earthly relevance and achievements mean nothing to God if you live under the dictation of the devil without the knowledge of God.

Some are born to receive their consolation on earth but have no inheritance in heaven.

If you rule the world and miss heaven, you are a failure. Everything on earth is fleeting and temporary. It is the salvation of your soul that continues your joy after death. If that is absent, your sorrow continues where earthly pleasure ends.

Your name might appear in the Guinness Book of Records countless times, but if it does not appear in the Book of Life, you will regret ever coming into the world and wish you had never been born.

If your name does not appear in the Book of the Lamb, it means that God does not know you, and heaven does not acknowledge your existence.

If you are not known by God, it would have been better if you had not been born. An aborted baby is better than you, for that child has not known right from wrong nor exercised the power of choice.

If you are known all over the world and your name is on the lips of men, but heaven does not acknowledge you, hell will rejoice at your arrival.

It is a pity that many run after denominations for miracles but do not run after God for eternal life. Miracles will end. Lazarus, whom Jesus raised from the dead, still died again. But what would have become of him if he had not experienced deliverance from the power of the grave by aligning with the purpose of Christ for his life?

“It was through this church that I became rich. It was through this man that I received my healing and deliverance from satanic oppression.” But what is the condition of your soul? Will it meet God’s standard for heaven?

Because of earthly heritage or church position, many are lost in churches that do not preach salvation or consider the welfare of souls.

It is better to worship in a church that promotes spiritual growth than in one that values only numerical growth while lacking spiritual growth.

You might be worshipping in a church with full air-conditioning but without the presence of the living God. Some are dancing their way to hell in worldly churches, and when they are warned, they see the one warning them as an enemy of their progress.

The rich man in the story of Lazarus received his consolation on earth, but his mistake was that he did not share it with the vulnerable man by his side. Had he done so, it might have resulted in his being received into his eternal habitation in heaven. Instead, he enjoyed everything alone, and he ended up suffering alone in hell, without deliverance through Father Abraham.

Lazarus died in poverty, but his soul was secured in Abraham’s bosom. If it were you, what would you choose?

Will you choose earthly enjoyment over the security of your soul under the blood of the Lamb?

A wise person will choose to suffer with the people of God, like Moses, rather than enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season and perish forever.

The greatest miracle is to have your life renewed daily by His Word in His presence and to have your nature transformed into the nature of Christ as you grow to attain His stature.

Nothing lasts in this world. Beauty fades, wealth vanishes, and fame disappears, but God remains the same forever. He is the greatest miracle that will ever happen to mankind.

His presence follows you into eternity because He is eternal. Everything else remains on earth. If you have Him in your life, you have everything that will make your existence meaningful and your eternity secure.

If hundreds of general overseers lay their hands on you, yet you never experience the touch of God in your life, the transfer of anointing becomes strange fire that burns in your life and leaves you miserable.

This is the mistake many people make. They pursue the anointing of men of God but never follow the Word of God in obedience.

The woman at the well had encounters with different men that made her life miserable until she began living with another woman’s husband. But the day she encountered Christ, her life never remained the same.

She became an evangelist who preached Christ to an entire community, and they all came to Him.

Prayer:

Father Lord, touch my life, and do not let me remain the same again. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
