If all things in the world are influenced by financial gain, the house of God must make a difference. Gains in the kingdom only belong to God, who pays each person working for Him according to their abilities and the promises.

If whatever you desire to gain in the kingdom harms God’s works, it’s never from Him;, it’s from the prince of the world, who controls the spirit of trade by barter.

All glory and honour belong to God whoever wants to share in his glory will never prosper.

Most of the church attendees come because of one thing or the other, it’s not all of them who accepted him for who he is.

Even though some relationships are based on what they can get out of it, many marriages aren’t based on love its what each ones bring to the table that matters.

The relationship between parents and children is based on what individuals can contribute, the moment some children can’t see things to collect from their parents they change from being good to bad children.

This is how life runs, and we can’t deny it because we are there, this is the mentality that many Christians brought over to the house of God in a relationship with him.

Some came to church to seek husbands, while some came to seek wives, the moment their request is granted they find their way out and tend to their other business.

Some came for children for they know that only God gives good children, some came for business breakthrough and financial prosperity.

God might answer their prayers according to their heart’s desire to reveal the intent of their hearts, and he might not reward their allegiance with his gifts to expose the motives of their hearts.

Some dress up to church to impress others who have none, some do things in the church that will make the poor question the authenticity of God.

The reason God wants men to serve him is not because of things, it’s only because he is the Lord God Almighty who is worthy of our worship and adoration.

Whatever prompted you to serve him apart from this is what makes your worship imperfect before him.

The Bible recorded that some worship him but not with a perfect heart, what will be your testimony before the saints and the angels after you leave the world?

Whatever you serve God to receive has become the first in your life while God takes the second position, it occupies his sanctuary in your soul.

You don’t serve God because of food, his promises cover that, he provides for his elect even in famine, and he makes a difference between those who serve him and those who don’t serve him.

If you only serve him for what to eat and what to drink, you have limited him to a God of food, like those who want to make him king so that he can serve them whenever they want it.

What if the provision for food is not continuing, they will remove him as an incompetent king and find someone to replace him, that is why he gave his body as the only food they needed, and his blood to satisfy their spiritual thirst.

God says he did not call the house of Jacob to seek him in vain, he determines the rewards to give his servant not per your decision.

If God decided in his sovereignty not to feed you for a moment, would you desire to sell your birthright for a morsel of bread just like Esau?

That is why the devil took this advantage to establish churches that would suit their purpose and attend to their request, those kinds of believers won’t serve God perfectly.

If you serve him because he answered your prayers, what will you do? If he decided not to answer you for a period of two to three years as if he went on a journey?

Will you find an alternative to replace him as the people in the wilderness replaced the God of Moses with the golden calves when he left the camp for a while?

God won’t owe you if you try to work for him because of financial gain, but you won’t make heaven, to do that, you must have a father-son relationship with him that will seal the covenant of sonship with God as your Father.
