Covenant of circumcision, the seal of the Fatherhood of God

Genesis 17:11 ( And ye shall be circumcised in the flesh of your foreskin and it shall be a token of the covenant betwixt you and me)

God entered into a covenant with Abraham and sealed it with the circumcision of the foreskin of his entire house including slaves and servants in the family, this became a token between God and Abraham forever.

Spiritual circumcision is needed for whoever wants to belong to the household of God in the New Testament between God and his people, the Bible says, ” Rend your heart not your clothes, that is a sign of repentance, you might rend your clothes while your heart is still working in rebellion against God.

This is what shows that we truly belong to God’s family.

This covenant is still holding as everyone wants to claim the fatherhood of God but it’s only those whose heart is circumcise that truly belong to him.

A stony heart turned to the heart of flesh can only be done by the working power of regeneration by the spirit of God, which removes the foreskin of the flesh and gives you the grace to live in the will of God.

There are Christians that are yet to be circumcise at heart, even if the foreskin of their flesh is remove which is physical circumcision, if they’re yet to remove that of the heart, they don’t belong to the family of God, the way God relates with the world is different from the relationship he has for the children of Abraham by faith, even the Jews couldn’t enjoy this kind of relationship for they are only related to Abraham through physical covenant, lack of spiritual covenant with the God of Abraham linked them with Satan as their father.

God rain upon the righteous and the wicked, he provides food for the godly and the ungodly, he is doing it in his mercy towards all till the day they’ll acknowledge him as the saviour and God but if they refuse, they shall be cut off.

There are realms which unbelievers may not be able to enter in God unless they click into the Abrahamic covenant, as you know that servant is restricted to some places in your house, but there is no place where your son could not enter.

The Jews were claiming their portion in the covenant of Abraham but Jesus rebuked them because their nature didn’t align with that of Abraham, they claimed it through physical circumcision but their heart is saying otherwise because they had yet to repent from their wicked ways.

Their foreskin of hatred to God is yet to be removed, they claim to love God but hate the one he sent.

If you don’t love Jesus Christ and accept who he claims to be, you’re far from redemption that will qualify you for the spirit of adoption.

If God should appear in your gathering will he find those who belong to Abraham in your midst? The blessing in the Fatherhood of God is linked with the covenant of circumcision; working in his vineyard doesn’t qualify you as a son, that why many will be disappointed on that day, you can’t bribe him out with your service, to work for God perfectly, you must believe in who he sent.

His access to your heart permits him to recreate you for his mission.

If you don’t have his image, you’re nothing of his, that image is love, love the Lord your God and love your neighbours as yourself, that is the image he shared with man from the beginning, no other creature has it, that’s when you’ll be perfect as your Father in heaven is perfect.

Satan too is operating by covenant, whatever favour solicited from him puts you into a covenant that can’t be broken, but only by the covenant in the blood of Jesus.

Covenant of circumcision, which is repentance from the way of Adam to the way of Christ is what removes any covenant you had before meeting Christ, devil comes to look if his covenant is still in place, but when he sees God in action, sitting on the throne of your life, he backs off, his covenant cannot stand where God reigns.

Circumcision of the heart removes the dead works and their consequences over you, all is nailed with Christ on his Cross.

Your flesh linked you with Satan, its the poison of the serpent release to man in the fall, until its remove, you wont have a perfect relationship with the most high, the seed of the snake with the seed of the woman will always be enmity against each other, until the head of the serpent is bruised and dominion is given back to the last Adam, the leg of man will always bruise by the serpent!
