Jer 17:9 ( The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it?)

The wickedness of the heart and its deceitfulness started in Eden after the first human ate the forbidden fruit and disobeyed divine ordinances.

This nature of the serpent started manifesting in the firstborn of man, when by deceit he lured his brother into the garden to slay him.

Deception is the nature of the ancient serpent that is rooted in man to act against the will of God.

Man was able to play a double role in one heart due to the tree of good and evil they ate in the garden, which led to deception, but man’s intent is what will be brought to judgment.

The Bible says, What defiled man comes out of the heart ” for in the heart proceed evil thoughts, murder, adulteries, fornications, theft, false witness, blasphemies”.

Heart is the battleground in life this is where God and Satan are fighting for preeminence, a community that is evil and godless is a result of the corruptible heart of those who live there.

The one in charge of your heart is in control of your life.

There are different ways in which Satan takes control of humanity, he penetrates the heart through music and entertainment, he takes over the heart through drugs and the door opens for him to do frivolous things.

Before man can be cleansed his life must be washed within so that it’ll manifest outside, religion depends on outward cleansing, it’s only the blood of Christ that can cleanse within and manifest outside for men to see and glorify God.

When the condition of your heart is not good, evil will started manifesting in your life which many who don’t know the origin but are thinking you’re a Christian will start blaming household wickedness or the evil powers in your compound, what a man is inwardly is what manifests in his nature and is revealed in the activities that surround.

All powers are under the authority of Christ, there is no mountain he can’t dismount and there is no problem outside his power, first orient your mind to align with the purpose of God and see the hand of God in your life.

The word of God will surely come to pass, he says if you can’t manage the things of others how will you receive your own?

Some died barren when they were disgusting by other children, their hearts were wicked towards other people’s children, how will God give them their own?

The heart is the fountain that generates clean and impure water that runs out to pollute the surroundings.

Check the condition of your heart and see the fruit that is manifesting in your life, a good fountain can’t bring forth corrupt fruits, and a bad source can’t bring forth good fruits.

What comes from your heart is what life manifests outside.

Jesus Christ says, “give your heart to me” a heart that is not in God’s hands can’t be pure, as the way men worship him outwardly but their heart is far from him.

This is the work of religion, but Jesus Christ wants us to pass over religious ethics and come to the Father through him, our righteousness must exceed the righteousness of the Pharisees before we can enter the kingdom of God.

The worshippers of other gods worship out of fear, but those who worship God, are worshipping him out of love for the love of God has his place in their heart.

This is the situation of many people in the church of God, we are trying to serve God outwardly while another force is in charge of the heart.

God knows who belongs to him, he knows whose heart he set up his throne, he knows who believes and who doesn’t, he knows the betrayer; for he searches the reins of the heart to give each person according to his works.

It’s only the heart that’s under his control that he sees to the welfare and directs the course of their life.

The Bible says, “It’s those who are under the leading of the Holy Spirit that are called children of God”.

The first Adam must be removed from the throne of human life before God takes control, the last Adam came to nail the influence of the first Adam to the Cross and disarm its power to have preeminence, but only if you allow him.

Jesus is standing at the gate of each person’s life, he wants to occupy his throne in your life, he created it as a sanctuary for himself, which no other should possess, he can’t be a second fiddle, dagon image bow before him as the ark of the covenant enters its temple.

It’s the possession by other things that leads humanity into this mess of sin and death, unless you open the door and allow him to chase out the evil occupants he won’t force you, the decision depends solely on you.

It’s the entrance of Christ into the heart that destroyed the power of death, where life reigns, and death doesn’t have power.

But wherever evil reigns there is death hanging, a curse is the souls that still harbor what gives death invitation and disallow life to take control.

Satan came as a result of the curse of God to bring it to pass upon all the generations of men.

Jesus Christ came with life eternal to those who allow him to rule over them, as he lives so also we shall live.

Most of the acts of human behavior came from the heart, the heart of betrayal is corrupted to the core, that’s why Judas was never forgiven for he couldn’t repent; the heart that is yet to visit Calvary for cleansing is what Satan can manipulate.

The act done with clean motives is different from the one done with a biased mind, even though it may sound good, the reward will be given accordingly.

If your motive is clean in doing God’s work, you won’t mind if you’re transferred to a remote area for the sake of the gospel.

Most preachers have different motives, some do it for fame while some do it for gain but those whose purpose is aligned with the divine do it without grudges.

Their aims and objectives are winning souls to the kingdom, to snatch captives away from the powers of darkness, but it’s only the heart that is renewed that can do that successfully.

Before God called someone into ministry, he would have cleansed him within and without to remove from him whatever could tarnish his name in the future.

Ministers who are yet to go to Calvary can’t follow divine protocols, they will take shortcuts to fulfill the desire of their heart even if it’s against the will of God.
