The question who is your father is a rhetoric question every Christian ought to have answers to. How do you know that you belong to God as many are claiming the fatherhood of God, when they are actually not living in his will?

Romans 8:14 ( For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God)

It’s those who are in His will and do whatever He commands who can lay claim to this, as the Pharisees claim it but do the opposite.

Many Christians are confused about their origin. They go to church, listen to sermons, pay their tithes and offerings, obey the doctrines and teachings of their denominations, but their hearts are directionless to the divine voice.

The honour of fatherhood is to give God the honour he deserved, all fathers deserve their honour as God was asking Israel that if they consider him as a father, they should honour him as such.

The honour God want from his children is to obey his commandment, Abraham honoured him by leading his children to the right path.

The whole earth is under two fatherhoods, the weeds that were planted by satan, who believes they are from God and the good seed planted by God, which shows that there is a mix-up somewhere.

Some belong to Jesus, serving in the camp of the devil, and the children of Satan mixed with the children of God in the church, there will be separation and God will bring his people out and sweep his garner perfectly and gather the shaft into unquenchable fire and bring also the good seed into his harvest.

God knows who belongs to him, it’s only your sons that’ll be welcome to your house when the night comes.

The kind of voice that is controlling your life indicates where you belong, you can’t say you’re for God when you obey the contrary.

A brother was complaining how his life is retreating backward even though he has been going to church for twenty years, he hasn’t seen the difference in being born again.

Then I asked him which kind of voice always speaks to him, then he confessed that the voice had a kind of controlling influence that he can’t resist, too domineering, to the extent that he won’t be able to resist when it comes.

I told him that that kind of voice can’t be from God, maybe he doesn’t belong to God in the first place, that is why such a kind of voice could have its way.

Holy Spirit is gentle, he won’t coerce you into doing his will, he now confesses that there is a serpent lying in his room, who always controls his life, to the extent that at age fifty, he has yet to marry, and the spirit always stops him from working, even when his job pays well.

This man was in a Bible-believing church for twenty years and was thinking that he belonged to God while it was another contrary power that was in charge, which pretends to be God.

It’s the fruits of your life that tell you where you belong, even if you don’t know, others will see it in your character that shows it.

If a role call is made now that the children of God should come out, most people would want to be identified with Him, even unbelievers will claim his fatherhood, but God knows who serve him.

That is how the devil has trapped some Christians into believing that they belong to God while claiming his promises but are not ready to align themselves with obeying his word that is attached to his promises.

The Bible says, whoever is led by the spirit of God is the son of God, leading of the spirit is different from the leading of other contrary spirits.

The leading of holy spirit lead you to the righteousness of God, he lead you away from sin warned you against disobedience to the law and the ordinances of God.

It’s the sons he loves he rebukes and reprimands, it’s only a bastard that won’t listen to corrections.

I wonder whose voice is directing the affairs of those who dress worldly to appear in God’s presence.

If the voice you heard is not leading you out of a fake church but makes you bow under fake leadership to submit your life to them, it’s not the voice of God.

The voice of God directs you to Christ Himself and makes you reconcile to God.

I wonder whose voice you have been listening to that is directing you away from the path of submission to the path of self-glory and that turned you away from the path of surrendering under to the slaying power of the cross to the path of worldliness.

I wonder the voice that is telling you that it doesn’t matter if you disobey God to please your lust and still come to worship in his presence.

Holy spirit wont contradict Himself and won’t go against the written word of God, he called for separation not relationship with the people of darkness.

His calling is to be holy just like your father in heaven is holy, if God is not directing you to live right in his presence you are not part of his heritage.

Its the sons that will receive the spirit of adoption that will engraft them into the kingdom of their father.

If you’re yet to receive this spirit you are no more than a servant, that’s ready to go back to his father’s house, its only the son that will stay in the house forever.

I wonder how a Christian will hear a voice that contradicts the Bible and still claim it is from God?

That is why Christian going into divorce and remarried to another claiming they heard from God, its not God that gives such direction, may be its the spirit in your father’s house that wants to bring the sins of your generation to remembrance before God.

A Christian brother who was once burning for the lord heard a voice that changed his life forever during a process of changing his name on the government registry. He heard that he should go back to his family religion, and the moment he turned his back on God he became insane.

Had he known that that kind of voice doesn’t belong to God, he wouldn’t have become insane that end up destroying his career and marriage.

God won’t tell you to drink alcohol before prophesying, that kind of demons if of Bacchus, mimicking the spirit of God, by their fruits you shall know them.

Spirit of God direct the move of his children so they won’t dash their feet against stones, there are Spirit of error that is controlling the children of the devil, when the fruits of your life are not aligned with the fruit of the spirit, you’re being directed wrongly, if care is not taken you will miss the reason for your existence.

A man once said, God told him to seduce the wife of his pastor who had five children, he abandoned his legal wife and cohabited with his pastor’s wife.

How can you call yourself a child of God when the voice that gives you directions is of the devil?

The lord says, The lord says, of some Christians is what some Christians use to cover their wickedness, they know that you won’t be able to challenge their actions if they say that; God is not a talkative, when he speaks he speaks wisdom that will align your life with His word, not the opposite.

Prayer: My father and my God, lead me to the path of righteousness, don’t let my feet slip into darkness in Jesus name amen
