Matthew 5:17-19 ( think not that I am come to destroy the law or the prophets, I am not come to destroy it, but to fulfil it, for verily I say unto you, one jot or one little shall in no wise pass from the law, till all is fulfilled. Whosoever shall break one of the least commandments and teach others to do so shall be called the least in the kingdom; but Whosoever shall do and teach them the same shall be called great in the kingdom)

Moses represents the dispensation of the law, while Elijah represents the dispensation of the prophets. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, represents the dispensation of grace. The three of them appeared on the Mount of Transfiguration to discuss His mission to the world.

They all disappeared but only christ remain while the disciples were busy building three tabernacles in their mind, the disappearance of the other two indicates that Christ only came to stay and his law becomes the only law the whole of humanity must follow.

Jesus Christ professed not to come and abolish the law but came to fulfil it, even the law was magnified that there are things that was change that will only need divine grace to fulfil on man’s side.

Law and the prophets without the grace can no one follow, it’s by the grace of God that man will come to perfection in God.

This generation of Christians has removed the most important part of the law in the name of grace, they eradicate the law to make their testimony incomplete for the testimony of Jesus Christ is the spirit of prophecy.

God gave the ten commandment but Jesus Christ changed it to two, to make it easy for man to keep; love the lord your God with all your mind , with all your souls and with all your might, the second is like that, which is love your neighbours as yourself.

If you love God you won’t deny him one tenth of your income for the progress of his kingdom , if you love him you won’t have any other gods or bow for any image.

If your love for God is authentic you will not only honour the sabbath but also all the days to worship God in the beauty of his holiness, for some people only become holy on a sabbath but on other days behave like the devil.

If you love God you won’t equate him with other gods, or image in heaven or in the sea or under the earth, you won’t dishonour his name by swearing deceitfully.

The love for God covers all the commandments related to God and the love for your fellow neighbours is just like that.

If you love your neighbours as yourself, you wont wish him evil, what you want them to do to you is what you’ll do to them, This is what the law says and the prophets came to enforced to guide men in the way of the lord, while christ came to establish it in man’s heart ans give them the grace that makes them exceed that of the Pharisees and the Sadducees for these were the keepers of law.

Don’t let anyone deceive you that the time of law is past, to do as we please and still see the face of God.

You can’t obey God by loving him and hate man and be perfect before God.

It’s the love you have for your parents that will not make you treat them as corban, God demand death in the law to whoever dishonours parents and Jesus also came to uphold it.

Even if society looks the other way, the enforcers of the law will uphold it, that is why many youth are dying en masse because of disobedience to parents, which gives Satan legal ground to harvest their lives at a younger age.

Jesus didn’t come to eradicate the law but fulfil it to the letter and also command men to do so, we are not saved by the law but we are saved to keep it.

Grace is needed to exceed that of Pharisees, circumcision is part of the law but grace changes it to the circumcision of the heart. Do you know its easy to keep the law of physical circumcision than to keep the one of spiritual circumcision?

Even if you circumcise your body but your soul is laced with the works of the flesh, you won’t enter the kingdom of God.

Do you know that circumcision of the heart is what includes you in the generations of Abraham by faith and makes you a participant in Abraham’s blessing?

Divorce is also part of the law which Christ came to modify to fit the time of grace, so you can’t divorce even if you find something wrong with your partner.

Unfortunately, those who reject the law are into divorce which is part of the law because it pleases their carnal desire.

It was easy to enter the kingdom of God before John the Baptist but after him the kingdom suffered violence and the violent take it by force.

Is it the grace that makes you dress anyhow to reveal your nakedness to seduce men?

Some are agents of satan in disguise who knows the law of God that whoever looks at a woman lustfully has committed immorality with her in the heart, but makes an effort to destroy men’s lives to make them candidates of hell the way they dress.

Is it the grace that makes you patronise devil’s wares to decorate yourself?

Is it grace that makes you continue smoking and drinking to destroy the temple of the living God?

You might do that in the law but that is what the grace of God won’t permit, you can’t continue sinning and say the grace should abound.

Grace is not for the weak in spirit but for the violent who are ready to take the kingdom of God by force.

Grace turns anger to murder and turned curse to death sentence, that whoever says to his brother raca is in danger of hell.

That is why we need this grace to abide in the total obedience to the law of God if not we will be worse than the Pharisees and the Sadducees which Christ says, we should exceed in the works of righteousness.

The Bible says, whoever shall break one or little of the law shall be called least in the kingdom, “This one we ought to do but not abandon the weightier part of the law, no law is little and no law is small, to despise the little or small one is to despise the one that gave it.

Brethren, the time of grace is more strict than the time of the law, which is why Jesus gave his disciples more grace to be more than the Pharisees to keep them on track.
