1 Cor 1:18 ( For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God)

Some doctrines are going around to defame Christ’s death but embrace his resurrection, someone will say, “I don’t need a Jesus who died, I only need the one who resurrected”.

Truly, they do not need the Jesus who died, or the one on the cross; they only need the power and the works of resurrection in their lives.

This is absolutely heresy that nullified christ death to obtain his resurrection, you need to know that without his death there wouldn’t be something like resurrection.

If you can’t embrace the cross of Christ, you will miss the power of his resurrection, apostle Paul declared that, that he may know him and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his suffering, this is the only way to perfection in God.

How will you experience the power of his resurrection without being in fellowship with his suffering?

It’s just like taking short cut that will end in spiritual elongation of your journey to perfection or miss the road to divine presence.

The Bible says, it’s only those who are perishing that will despise the message of his Cross, they don’t want to die to self but want to experience the goodies of his resurrection, it’s only the crumbs that fell from the master’s table that belong to dogs.

These kinds of messages that despise the cross are from new age or grail message, coupled with the message of Islam, it’s all rooted in rebellion against the finished works of Christ.

If you don’t want to experience the crucifixion of the flesh, how do you die to self and bruise the head of the ancient serpent?

It’s the power of his Cross that will destroy your old nature inherited from the fall, it’s the power of his resurrection that will bring you to new life in God, where old things have passed and all things become new.

With your old nature, the generational curse of Adam is still active to drag you down to the point of no return.

It’s the power of his Cross that will transfer you into the family of God where you will enjoy all the benefits that belong to the children of the house and where all your generational curse lost its effects.

With your old nature, you won’t be able to see the face of God in death, the flesh will become a hindrance to your journey of eternal heritage and remain as an enemy of God forever.

It’s at his resurrection that the image of Christ shall be imputed in you while the image of Adam shall be crucified with Christ, its christ image that God see in you and admits you into his kingdom.

It’s the cross that will syphon the poison of the ancient serpent through the blood of Jesus Christ, cross is what separates believers from unbelievers, the saints from the heathen, if you’re yet to experience this power, it means that you are not yet being forgiven and this testimony will stand against you in judgment.

The cross is the place where the blood of Jesus wipes away sin and removes all sorrows and tears permanently.

The Bible called whoever despises the cross a fool, God used the foolishness of the kingdom to confound the wisdom of this world, for by wisdom no one knew God and can never know the true God.

It’s not by masonic teachings, or by new age teaching, neither its by the grail message that a man can know God, it’s only by what the world calls the foolishness of the message of the cross by those who believe in it.

The Bible says, we preached Christ crucified, which became a stumbling block to the Jews, and to the heathen, foolishness, but to those who are called, it became the power and the wisdom of God unto salvation.

Those who preached the prosperity message are avoiding the cross and denying the power of his death to become prosperous, it’s like they want to avoid the blade and refuse to remove the foreskin of their flesh, which is the circumcision of their heart to enjoy the goodies of salvation.

This can’t be possible its only if they are ready to partake from the crumbs which fell from the master’s table.

They won’t enjoy it to the fullest because in the end, they will lose their souls after gaining the whole world.
