Galatians 5:24,25 ( And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lust. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit)

There are two manifestations of the spirit of God in man, if he has endowed you with the fruits, surely his gifts must come to manifestation in your life. Still, there are different manifestations of the gifts that don’t have anything to do with the fruits of the spirit.

That is why Christians should be concerned with whichever manifestation of the gifts that doesn’t include the fruits; every Christian needs the gift of discernment to separate the real from the counterfeit.

Jesus Christ says, we should check the fruits first before the gift, if the fruit isn’t there, the gift is not from God.

It’s the fruit of the spirit that build Christian to reach the level of Christ’s stature, while the gifts are necessary to work our purpose in his vineyard and build up the body of Christ.

Most believers have these gifts to some levels but not all of them have the fruit of the spirit in them, which is why they started manifesting the gifts without the fruits, which gives the devil an upper hand to harvest their souls in the end.

Gifts edify the body of Christ but it’s the fruit in you that shows that you truly belong to Him.

All the fruits are listed in the book of Galatians 5:22,23, which are love, the first that all believers should have, which without, you don’t belong to God.

The next one is , joy peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance, if any one of these is lacking you are incomplete and below what you are created to be in life and fall short of your calling.

The absence of any of this indicates the presence of the works of the flesh in that area, you can’t say you love but lack joy and the peace of the Holy Spirit.

If you don’t have love, there is no way temperance and meekness will be visible in your life.

Most of the workers in God’s vineyard establish their ministry on the gifts only without the manifestation of the fruit in them, the foundation of some ministries was built on gifts, this is what gave the devil permission to infiltrate their midst to plant tares in the midst of corn.

Any ministry whose foundation isn’t based on repentance, turning back from sin has removed the ancient marks that our fathers in faith have set and won’t grow to reach the level of Christ’s stature.

Those who built their foundation on gifts are yet to experience the love of Christ that will bring others into that kind of love to be baptised with the holy spirit and function in Christ’s love.

Someone who doesn’t have self-control is the one who wants to control the spirit and cast them out, or the person who can’t rule his house that want to rule over God’s heritage.

The fruit God is expecting from every believer who shows you love him is the fruit of repentance, the pharisees that went to John to be baptised were all told to bring the fruit of repentance, they shouldn’t say that they had Abraham as their father, this is not enough for them to be in the company of the saints.

Everyone has these gifts to some degree, so likewise the Pharisees, but they must show in their fruit that they have repented by submitting themselves under the authority of the word.

A man planted a tree in his vineyard expecting the fruit to be harvested but he came and found none.

He told the gardener to cut it down, but the man said, let wait for a while, after a year, when I put manure and dig it all around, if it doesn’t bring fruit, you should cut it off.

This passage doesn’t say gifts but fruit, God is the one who planted and the leaders in your fellowship are the ones who fertilise you with prayers and the word of God that will change you from being Satan’s children to the children of God by changing from your former ways to the way of Christ.

God normally goes around visiting his people if there is any development in them, if he comes around and you are still at the same level as last year, he won’t hesitate to remove you from the land of the living.

Many have been cut off from the vine tree a long time ago, they can’t produce fruit, even if they thought they were still functioning, because they have already withered, they must be removed and cast into the fire.

Devil don’t have the power to take away Christians life, Jesus holds the key to the gate of hell and death, if your life is not bringing any fruit, he has the permission to cut it off.

Judas Iscariot was among the twelve disciples whom Jesus called, he exercised his gifts by casting out demons in Jesus name, but instead of the fruit of holy spirit, he manifested the works of the flesh, greed, envy and lust which condemned him in the end and found himself with unbelievers in hell.

You may display extraordinary gifts, but if the fruit is not found in you, you can still be cut down, why cumbereth the ground?

If you’re planted in good soil and well watered, you learned from good teachers and studied with the best in your time, but you still can’t produce good fruit, you’re not a human being but a child of perdition.

There are dead staying among the living, their lives aren’t emanating life but the smell of decadence oozing forth from them, leaders with anger and curses from their mouths, some commit immorality more than unbelievers without any remorse, and you’ll wonder which kind of spirit is in them?

It’ss not by the spirit but their source, their father is the devil and the lust of their father will be displayed.

If some people are calling prayer points it will be as if fire is coming from their mouths, but the moment they come out of the church for a minute you will see them fighting blow with a bus conductor in the garage.

This is not Christ’s resemblance, they can’t say they are working for God when they’re living their life in iniquity….to be continued.
