Sin and Its Consequences is a biblical truth that affects every person, whether knowingly or unknowingly. While sin carries inevitable repercussions that can hinder destiny and invite judgment, obedience brings divine rewards, blessings, and spiritual elevation. This message reveals the reality of sowing and reaping and shows how aligning with God’s Word leads to life, restoration, and eternal reward.

Ezekiel 18:20 ( the soul that sin, it shall die. )

In the Bible, all the sins listed there are not without repercussions attached, but we only see the pleasure without looking at the repercussions; it’s the repercussions of the sin that Satan is working on to attack humanity and accuse them before the judgment seat.

Most of the happenings in our lives subsequently is as a result of what we planted in it in the past, which is growing to ask for vengeance.

A Christian who is born again and has their sin wiped out may still experience the consequences until they reach spiritual gilgal, which is Calvary, the place of cleansing and consecration where sins and their consequences are rolled away.

There are sins that the repercussions run from generation to generation among those who hate God. There are sins for which the consequences might never be wiped out, but the souls shall be delivered if the person truly repents.

There are sin that God Himself will see to the punishment because it affects his temple and bring defilement into it, while in some punishment, God will hand over the sinners to tormentors, as is the case with the unforgiven.

Actions brings reactions on the other side with great consequences on you, that will stop you from reaching the level that God desires for your life, so also with it’s eternal consequences that will condemn souls to hell.

As we believe in Christ and surrender the authority of our lives to him, that doesn’t exempt us from facing judgment or punishment if we still continue in sin; that is why we need to surrender ourselves to the authority of his Word.

Most Christians are yet to understand this, they keep on doing what God hates and want him to shield them from the repercussions.

If you break an edge, be expecting serpent to bite, if you dig a pit for others, be expecting to fall inside, truly Christ has redeemed us from our past sin but if we willingly commit sin after we have experience the power of resurrection and enjoy the fellowship of his presence, even though if we asked for forgiveness, you will still pay the price which may inquire your life to be cut short.

King David sinned against God and was forgiven, but he faced the consequences, and all the curses God pronounced against him came to pass.

You can’t mock God and not face the consequences.

It’s unfortunate that after our former sins are forgiven and we are free by the blood of the lamb, we still continue in what Satan will use as an open door to attack our lives.

Those who suffered for what they did in the past are blaming the household wickedness for making their life miserable, instead of asking God for mercy to speak for them in the place of judgment.

Christians are the most wanted in the kingdom of darkness; the devil won’t chase unbelievers, for they are already in his cage, but Christians are the most watched and reported to be accused before the judgment seat.

A goat that is free from the owner won’t be left alone; there is a tendency that the goat will be watched and brought back into the cage, and shall be dealt with more terribly than ever before for escaping in the first place.

A Christian who is born again and used to stealing at his place of work won’t receive the favour of God. The curse of God is upon the house of a thief; prayer can’t stop it; it’s what you invoked upon yourself.

A child of God who walks in disobedience against the law of God will harvest whatever he sows, don’t blame God when the repercussions start to speak against you.

There are death of young ones in the church of God which we imposed on ourselves as a result of disobedience and lack of training the children in God’s way, don’t think that those who are being killed in one attack or the other are more sinner than you, if you continue in your disobedience, time will come that all sinners shall be gathered into a place for destructions, who shall intercede for them, is it Christ they mocked or Satan that is always looking for their destruction?

A disobedient child is not different from an unbeliever; it would have been better if you didn’t know God than to know him and deliberately disrespect him.

The punishment in hell will be greater than if you had not known him.

So also as sins had their consequences, obedience too has its rewards, so many Christians want to live their lives the way they want and still want the blessings of God in it.

If you are righteous before God, there is a reward waiting on earth, and the one prepared for you which eyes have not seen and ears have not heard.

Every man will reap whatever they sow. If you sow spiritual things, you will reap incorruptible things, and if you sow sins to your flesh, you will reap corruption.

The book of beatitudes in the scriptures signifies the blessing that is in living in obedience; it won’t elude you whether you know it or not. It’s when it’s happening that God will open your spiritual understanding to see and know what the Lord has done.

It’s not by prayers, it’s the law of causes and effects, the law of returns. If you want to be blessed, you must be a blessing to others.

If you want to make heaven, you must be poor in spirit, and if you must inherit the earth, you should be meek; the earth belongs to the meek. This promise came from the mouth of Jesus Christ himself.

If someone is telling you that you don’t have an inheritance in this world, show them this Bible passage.

If you are thirsty after righteousness, you will be full, and if you want to see God, your heart must be pure.

There is a condition attached to every blessing mentioned in the Bible, it’s our responsibility to work out our salvation with fear and trembling.

You can’t dine with the devil and be expected to rest in Abraham’s bosom.

Most Christians died young because they didn’t follow the commandments that invoked long life. A child who will bury his parents will walk in that path while he is still young.

Many of us desire to sit with the prince and princess but are dining with the servants of the society.

Those who parade deliverance grounds should first check their lives and see if they are not the cause.

Had those men who don’t know the origin of their problems been able to stand at the ocean shore and command the queen of the sea to release their virtue that was syphoned through wayward life, they would have received immediate answers.

Man ignorantly opens the door for Satan to invade and steal, while Jesus Christ is waiting at the gate for you to repent and invites him in, so that he can close that door against the devil forever.

The Lord says, I didn’t call the children of Israel to seek me in vain, there are rewards in this world and the world to come if we diligently obey his commandments.

No one knows, not even prophets know what God has in mind for you, it’s hidden closely in His Will as you go on doing it, the purpose of God will come to manifestation, and no man will be able to take it from you.

Prayer: Father Lord, let me walk directly in the path of blessing that all what you prepare for me shall come to fulfillment, in Jesus name amen
