Proverbs 24:10 ( if thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small)

Every man on their way to the presence of God has to encounter what will lead him to his destination which is adversity. Still, Satan is the executioner of it all, even Jesus faced the time and the hours of darkness which resulted in his glorification.

The great men in the Bible experienced it all, Job faced his own and conquered likewise Moses and the three Hebrews in the furnace.

Whoever claims not to experience it is on the waiting list or has nothing to contribute to humanity positively, not even a threat to the powers of darkness.

The adversary is standing in the way of the progress of those whose destiny becomes a threat to the kingdom of darkness.

Joseph’s destiny was assigned to keep his household from famine and his brother fashioned adversity for him in the land of slavery which resulted in his elevation to the palace.

Man is living among his enemy and the purpose of God is what will come to fulfillment whether Satan likes it or not if the person does not faint.

Adversity starts at the next stage of breakthrough, the number of giants you conquer determines the level of your victory in battle.

When heaven is taking you to the next level, all hosts of darkness will try to stop it, not knowing that the way to success opens through opposition

Adversity is the breakfast of the champions the earlier they face it the quicker the way to their breakthrough in life

There is an adage that says, the eyes that have seen the ocean and the sea will not be afraid at the mention of a little river or stream.

God appointed adversity to bring man to his knees and humble him before he can be used by God, it opens our eyes to know our incapability without God.

Gold is hidden inside the soil and covered with dirt, it’s through the adversity of the fire of purification that its true nature will be revealed.

Jesus Christ our Lord faced his own and overcame, no one is exempt from it.

He wept that God should remove the cup when he saw what he was about to face and the torment of the iniquity of the whole world laid on his shoulder.

The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak, but he submitted his feelings and emotions under the will of his Father.

He knows that the suffering of the present was not to be compared to the glory waiting for him, after the cross, followed by glorification.

No one dictates the date or the hour of his adversity, you can’t choose the type, God assigns it for Job without his awareness, but Job’s positive reaction in the face of adversity determined the outcome.

Whoever refuses to go through it will remain at the level of mediocrity and won’t advance to the place God has purposed for their lives.

God told the Israelites that he brought them out from the fire of afflictions, adversity doesn’t mean to take your life but to bring out the hidden beauty and the glory that was hidden since creation.

This is what announces the purpose you were created, and adversity subdues the power of the flesh to energize the spirit.

All great men of God mentioned in the Bible have their own share in this program of God, if you desire to shine like them the grace of God is sufficient to take you there.

God can’t use an unbroken vessel, he said, ” whoever this stone is that falls on shall be broken into pieces”
He breaks the vessel he wants to use through adversity so they won’t have anything to glory in except the cross of Christ.

This is the hour of darkness to everyone who want to become what God creates them to be in life, may be you’re already facing your own adversity that you’re thinking it’s the work of household wickedness, it’s better not to relent in prayers and seek the face of God always, for Satan not to divert your destiny and make it useless for divine purpose..

Adversity draws you closer to God and separates you from the world, the closer you are to Christ the more you disentangle yourself from things that don’t matter and the more the things that are holding people captives become disgusting to your soul.

Jesus Christ said, When I am lifted up I will draw all men to me”.

It’s the Cross of Christ that created an avenue for men to draw closer to him, you know more of him at the feet of his cross, and know that nothing matters to you anymore if you’re with him.

You discovered in the time of adversity that nothing is permanent only the love of God, that is when you’ll know the uselessness of what you cherish most aside from God.

All the friends of Job condemned him, and his wife forsake him and told him to curse God and die.

God used it to show the true nature of the people you trusted, the person you trusted most will become your betrayer, During that period is when Peter denied Jesus and Judas betrayed him, with many of his apostles running away to protect themselves.

It’s only one of his twelve disciples who accompany him to the place of crucifixion and he was the only one who didn’t experience martyrdom, which makes the Word of God come to fulfillment that whoever loses life for my sake shall gain it back and whoever keeps his life shall lose it.

God used adversity to train his children, the more severe the adversity the more importance the assignment that shall be given.

Moses spent forty years in the wilderness tending to the flock of his father-in-law, because he was a chosen one who would bring the Israelites out of bondage and slavery.

When he entered Jethro’s house, he didn’t know that his training had started until it destroyed all carnal desire in him to defend the children of Israel, until after forty years when he had been tested and trusted that God entered the equation and gave him the same assignment he had forgotten about to start differently.

The lengthy period of it says more about your life assignment, when gold is being tried inside fire, until the goldsmith can see his reflection in it, that’s when it’s ready to be displayed in the marketplace.

Adversity stays till it brings out the image of God in you, that’s when you’ll enter your glory to fulfill the purpose you’re created for.
