Philippians 3:10 ( That I may know him and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his suffering, being made conformable unto his death)

The step that follows knowing God is to experience the power of his resurrection, followed by the fellowship of his suffering.

Signs that show you have known Christ not only by ear say it is to experience the power of his resurrection, the quicken from the dead, raised from the ancient graveyard and brought to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Those who confess to knowing God but have yet to experience his resurrection are yet to connect with the life of God. That’s why they remain with the dead.

There are living people who are not living; no wonder the Psalmist says, do not let me go to the grave alive.

There are living dead, those who are yet to experience these powers. Even though they’re Christians they’re not different from unbelievers.

Many think they’re living but they’re not known among the living, for the truth of God failed to penetrate into their life.

Most people living on Earth have been caged by the grave; they live in hell while they are on Earth; their actions and thoughts are dictated by the power of hell, and their names are written at the gate among the dwellers of hell fire.

They have the mark of death upon them, which signifies that they’re yet to be redeemed and transferred to the kingdom of God.

Unless they repent and come to the Lord Jesus, their name will remain at the gate of hell, telling them that they belong there even after they leave the world.

Any unconfessed sin that you failed to repent of will qualify you as a candidate of the grave; it’s the mark of the devil upon your life.

This shows that you’re yet to experience the power of his resurrection, for if you have been resurrected from the grave, the mark of death will surely be wiped out.

You can’t just know him without experiencing the power of his resurrection and tasting the fellowship of his suffering; all these go together to be one in the knowledge of Christ.

It’s the knowledge of God that most of us are after but avoid to have fellowship with his suffering; when the time comes for us to be tested, we cut corners to avoid it.

The disciples know him and experience the power of his resurrection thereby fellowship with him in his suffering by suffering rejection and persecution wherever they find themselves.

The moment you die to sin, your spirit man comes alive to experience the power of his resurrection; you’re dead to the things of the flesh and become alive in God; old things have passed away, and all things become new in Christ.

You’re transformed into a new life in God, and your name is wiped out from the book of destruction and have it written inside the book of life; you’re no longer who you used to be; whoever sees you with the face of yesterday will have God to answer to.

This transformation started at Calvary, which is why all Christians must be there to have their sin wiped and their nature changed.

Those who follow for bread and fish departed from him when he introduced himself as the living bread; they only know about him but have yet to experience his power.

All of Christ is what we must know to experience the fullness of his power.

Whoever preached a one-sided gospel is out to deceive; that’s what makes people turn back as he begins to reveal himself and what it takes to be part of his kingdom. If you don’t experience crucifixion how do you experience resurrection?

I am yet to see anyone who Christ reveals himself and follows him all through that’ll later regret knowing him in the end.

The more you know him the more his glory is revealed and the more you desire to know him more.

A Christian who backslide after knowing him is yet to know him, Peter was able to get restored while Judas Iscariot was not, this is because their knowledge of Christ is in different dimensions, Peter knows who Christ is not just being his disciples but Judas Iscariot didn’t know who he is and he later betrayed him.
