Matt 4:17 ( from that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand)

At the beginning of Jesus’ ministry on earth, the message of repentance took preeminence, for he was about to bring the reign of heaven down to the earth to establish his kingdom among the children of men.

It’s only by repentance that one will be a partaker and become part of his kingdom, for you can’t bring over the serpent’s nature into his kingdom; it must be shed off at Calvary.

You must turn away from your sin to begin a new life with Him.

Repentance is the key that opens the lock of the ancient prison; by it, deliverance is granted, the curse is broken, and the evil covenant is destroyed.

Whoever preaches prosperity or deliverance from captivity without telling you to repent is just deceiving you; he is trying to take a cut by avoiding the way; he is trying to take you out of the way of the cross, thereby making your journey longer by postponing your problem to the future.

Jesus Christ came to set the captive free, to open the door of prosperity, and to break the chains of ancient prison doors, but repentance is needed on your side for the mission to be accomplished.

If you refuse to repent, you don’t grant him access to your life, and he can’t do anything unless you give him permission.

He preached repentance to the people to let them know that their chains are broken, he perfected his work on the Cross so that you might bring your sin for him to be wiped by his blood.

It’s the sin you repented that is available for the blood to wash; any hidden sin is still speaking against you in judgment; if you repent of one without repenting of others, your deliverance is incomplete.

Prosperity preachers and most miracle workers with deliverance ministers are not preaching the whole counsel of God and will give account on the day of judgment.

Even if you have all the luxury in this world, without repentance, you won’t make your way to heaven; then, what is the essence of seeking miracles or prosperity and still losing your soul in the end?

This is what Satan wanted to achieve by sending this prosperity preacher into the world; he gave them a mandate to make some people rich in the things of the world but blocked their way of repentance so that he would have access to their souls in the end.

They don’t know that all these things are not only given by God, and their belief is that being rich in the church is equivalent to God’s face shining on them.

Rich or poor, you will die one day; this life is temporal if you truly repent and are not rich; you can make heaven if you repent, but if you’re rich without repentance, he’ll be your reward. No amount of money will save you from the coming judgment.

Whatever you gain in the world won’t follow you to the grave, it’s what you do for God that’ll matter on the last day.

When you surrender your soul to him, he will keep it till the day of resurrection of the dead, a soul that was kept to himself shall be lost forever.

Don’t let man deceive you; it’s through repentance that your soul shall be surrendered under the mighty hand of God, for it to be washed and cleansed with the blood of the Lamb to make it fit to stand before the throne of God.

A soul that still bears the curse of Adam is unwashed no matter how many riches he possesses; it can’t redeemed his soul, and he will answer to his sin before the judgment seat.

It’s only repentance that’ll make God repent of the evil that he planned for you and your family when you’re in sin.

Nothing can change the mind of God; it is only repentance that can change it from the condemnation he planned for you and your generation if you’re among his haters.

It happened in Nineveh when the Lord sent Jonah to them; he preached repentance, and a whole nation turned from their evil ways, and God held the judgment.

It’s lack of repentance that makes the curse run from generation to generation until someone rises up and says enough is enough to break the chains of evil from the family through repentance.

He says if my people that are called by my name repent of their sin he will look down from heaven and heal their land.

The Devil knows the law of God that is why he is sidetracking Christians from the way of repentance to perpetuate his reign over them so that he will continue his evil without restrictions

All human beings are heading towards destruction, for the wrath of God is upon sinners, rich or poor, religion or infidels, no matter your position in society, if you don’t repent of your sin, the judgment of God is set, he will release his judgment at any time and if you’re found in your wicked ways, you won’t be left out.
