2 Cor 6:17 ( wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean things; and I will receive you)

This is another way for Satan to infiltrate the church by merging the world with the church system to use it to disqualify the saints before the judgment seat.

Entertainment is amusement and that doesn’t have any relationship with the worship of God in His holy temple.

The church is not for entertainment, but many Christian leaders adopted this method to keep their members and use it to substitute their incompetency before their congregations.

Jesus Christ didn’t come to the world to entertain but to deliver many from the captivity of the devil, and entertainment is one of them; that is why it was never recorded that he laughed throughout his ministry.

Why will he laugh? Is it the way Satan has caged the world so that they couldn’t realize their wretchedness, or is it the way the kingdom of darkness is ruling the world and having dominion over the children of men without their awareness?

Most of these Christian entertainers have yet to encounter God; all that they do is act, which is the major activity of the devil among the saints, as an angel of light to deceive the ignorant.

There is a difference between acting and real; how will you differentiate if you’re not spiritually sensitive?

They act holy, but within, they’re ravenous wolves who are ready to devour at any given moment.

Most Christian entertainers in the music industry are doing it as merchandise in the church of God to enrich themselves, not to win souls into the kingdom.

Remember that Satan was formally a song minister in heaven before his fall!

But how do you win souls with the wares of the devil?

Whatever is promoted by the devil is with a different motive, not to bring men to Christ but to separate.

They are cashing out on us in the name of entertainment; they turn the church of God into a place of merchandise where each of them comes to display their wares.

This is an unholy concordance between the world and the church. Unless the church separates itself from these, her alliance with Christ won’t hold.

Apostles didn’t use drama to draw men to God; they preached the word, and the people’s souls were pierced, and many of them came to Christ in a single ministration.

We entered the church, watched films, and still went back the way we came, even not the way we came but worse than ever before, because of the transfer of demons of worldliness and immorality with fashions that were displayed at that moment.

We copied their fashions and the way they live, not minding if it’s of God or of the flesh.

“Actress Lagbaja perms her hair; she is using an attachment; if that’s the case, I too can use it.”

“See the way brother that sang dressed and still sing to the glory of God, why can’t I do the same”.

Their actions came to legalize what is condemned by God to the detriment of our souls.

There was a lady which we were going to the same church, but this lady didn’t put on earrings during service, but she was a song leader.

She came to my house one day with earrings, and I asked her why is she doing that when she was our music minister then She told me that whenever she came to church, she used to remove them.

Then I took the desire to copy her, and I put on the earrings that I was trying to dispose of.

That is when the holy spirit spoke with an audible voice while I was sleeping and said, you better remove that earring now.

Then I woke up and asked if there was anyone in my room, and I realized that it was God that is speaking; since then, I have tried not to copy others, whether celebrities or not; if your way is not in line with God’s word, I am out.

Entertainment is of the world, whether in drama or in song; they show it by collecting money for their ministration and billing any church that calls them to minister.

Now, they are introducing worldliness into their dressing, serving as an example to those who watched them.

They put on attachments and earrings, legalizing it in Christendom.

How do you preach to unbelievers this way? You do what they do, dress the way they dress; which kind of Jesus are you introducing to them in your ministration? Is it the Jesus of Calvary or the one presented by the world?

Everything is just acting; even the real character in the film is also acting. Satan, too, does that.

There is no ministry of acting in the Bible; the carriers of the gospel of Christ were never celebrities; they were hated to the extent of casting them out of the synagogues; if the people of the world love you, that means that you belong to them.

The servant is not greater than the Master. If the world hates your master, who are you to be celebrated by the same world?

Now, some churches are introducing football to their members, recruiting men to play in their teams in the name of helping others or bringing men to Christ.

These actions alone degrade the cause for which Christ died and demean his resurrection to bring man to God.

To merge Christianity with entertainment is sacrilegious; this new generation of Christians isn’t different from the Catholics who merged the worship of the Queen of Heaven with Christ.

We can’t borrow Satan’s method to win souls. This is a lie from the pit of hell; it’s only to infiltrate and drag Christians down to his level of rebellion.

We measure their spirituality with their carnal achievement, which is against the measurement of the kingdom.

If it’s our worldly treasure we use to measure our gain, we will say that Jesus Christ is a failure.

He came and was rejected, winning only twelve disciples for three and half years of his ministry while one of them was accursed.

The seventy departed because they couldn’t bear his teaching. He was killed, not having any earthly properties, and resurrected on the third day, but spiritually, he is the most successful human being that ever came because he was able to achieve the reason why he came and fulfilled the mission he was sent.

Football is the ministry of Satan to the world, and it’s being introduced to the church as a medium of entertainment to cause distraction on the race.

The church leaders are going to give an account of that day, whether they separate the church from the world with their preaching or align them together to create an army in the battle of Armageddon to become the one that’ll make the blood of Christ in vain for those who he died for.

A food laced with poison will be toxic for the soul, a little entertainment in our service is dangerous to our spiritual well-being.

Suppose a meal is served, and the plate has small particles of face on one side. Will you still go ahead and take it even though you’re hungry?

That is what entertainment is in the worship of God; we pollute it with a little dose of entertainment and expect it to be acceptable before God.

If you’ve entered into the sanctuary of God, you’ll know that all your service to him is incomplete without holiness in it.

Without holiness, no man shall see the LORD.
