You will be like God; A promise made by Satan to Adam and Eve
Gen 3:5 ( For God knows that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be like gods, knowing good from evil)
Had Eve known the kind of gods Satan want them to represent is not the authentic, they would have thought twice before falling into that kind of temptation.
We were created in God’s image, but Satan demoted us and turned us into creeping creatures and flying objects in the sky, with animals in the forest. What we were supposed to subdue is now ruling over us.
Satan most successful and original temptation is that we can be like gods, man’s most destructive error is to become like the things that are lesser than the One whose image he was created in.
Instead of becoming like God, the serpent transferred his nature into man, which makes them know good and evil, which now becomes the fallen nature of every man.

The fallen nature is the nature received after the fall, which makes it fallen, it makes man operate like demons and fallen angels, who are in total rebellion against God.
Man accepted to be like God, but they were turned into another image less than God; this action removed God from the throne of their lives and enthroned themselves, by determining what to use their lives for, instead of God using them for what His purpose was for them.
Self made man has terminated the purpose for which he was created, God want to be our master and our Lord, He want our will to be buried inside His Will and submit totally under the authority of His Word.
It’s the tendency to rule ourselves that put us under the dominion of Satan, no body was created to be independent; it’s either you’re under the authority of God or under the control of the devil, no middle ground.
Those who denied the existence of God and deny the ownership of Christ over their life are under Satan’s manipulation, and he put them perpetually under his slavery.
Religious men want God as a second fiddle to themselves; they want His help when situations are no more under his control, but still want to help God if the results at all aren’t pleasing to their flesh.
This is the reason flesh must die for God to occupy His throne in man’s life, that is the purpose from the beginning.
God is not ready to change us but to kill us and make us alive in His Son; this is the purpose for our redemption, we were bought over by the precious blood of the lamb and bring us under the dominion of Christ.
We are His from the beginning of creation before Satan interfered in the garden.
God won’t share us with anything, He created us for His glory ,and he can’t share his glory with things, including ourselves.
Man is on the stolen throne, until he vacate and submit himself to” thus saith the LORD” he is classified as thief taken what belong to other.
The difference between the redeemed and the fallen man is obedience to the law of God, our fallen nature is rebellious, doing things according to his will.
He picked what to obey in the law, whatever is not in agreement with his nature is discarded, not minding the consequences.
It’s the Lord on the throne of life that make us ascend with Him, and sit with Him at the right hand of God.
The Bible says, ” be thou exalted oh Lord, above the heaven, let your glory be above the earth”.
He says, when I am lifted up from the earth, I will draw all men unto me”
We exalt him in thought and in action; we honour Him secretly and openly, we exalt him more than our desires; His Will must be done, pleasing or not.
Will of God is more important than our happiness and pleasure, it’s in His will our happiness resides.
Most Christians are commanding God as a grocery boy in the supermarket to get them what they want, but a spiritual man will bow his knee and say, ” let your Will be done, oh Lord.”
Jesus Christ came to recover the stolen throne, which is His temple in man, he is ready to chase every stranger occupying it and set up His dominion in our heart.
It’s to subdue all things and bring it under His feet: the Bible says, the earth is Lord and it’s fullness thereof, the world and they that dwell therein”.
Self made man is original failure: they gain the whole word and loose their own souls: they failed to return stolen throne back to the owner and end up loosing it.
Whoever tried to save his soul shall lose it, and whoever surrenders it for the sake of the kingdom shall gain it back.
