John 2:16 ( And said unto them that sold doves, Take out these things hence; make not my Father’s house a house of merchandise)

The incidents that made Jesus angry in the Bible are when he saw a fig tree that wouldn’t satisfy his desire because it didn’t have fruit, and when he entered the temple and saw those who bought and sold there.

He made a curd and drove them out with their animals and doves and turned over the table of the money changer.

The temple was built for worship and prayers, instead of them comes to the temple to renew their relationship with God in prayers, and they bring their wares to sell which devalues the importance of the temple.

The name of Jesus is the most influential in the universe, even if they hate the carrier of the name they can’t write off what it does among the gentiles and unbelievers.

Those who came to sell in the temple don’t have contact with the God of the temple; likewise, those who choose to buy and sell with the name of Jesus Christ don’t have contact with the owner of that name.

What is the reason of you going to church, is it to meet with God or to display your goods and secure a buyer in the house?

Many came to church to seal a contract, if the contract failed they stopped coming.

Nothing concerns them with the preaching of the pastors as long as their contract is signed, they are pleased.

If it is to display your wares you may resort to witchcraft in the process of making money, that is why some people go to camp monthly with charms that enable them to make money by selling their wares, they don’t have a relationship with the God of Jacob.

How many unbelievers are trooping to the house of prayers to market their wares, and they think that by going to camp, if rapture happens, they will be caught up, God knows whose heart is right with him and he knows who serve him with a depraved mind.

Ask one of them if they ever gain from what they preached or prayed, and all that is going on in their mind is gain and loss. Likewise, those who preach for money, how will their message influence life positively and change people’s lives for good?

Satan isn’t afraid of someone going to church as long as you can’t comprehend the message, it will just be like a seed planted by the roadside or rocky areas which won’t absorb it, and won’t affect any area of Satan’s strongholds; because of the cares of life and the deceitfulness of riches.

God is not mocked, whatever you sow you shall reap.

Buying and selling in the temple makes it worthless for its establishment, the demons of buying and selling infiltrate a life that turns the physical temple into a place of merchandise and makes that life unworthy for God to dwell.

The devil is selling lust to you in exchange for the spirit of infirmities, he is selling envy and jealousy to you for the price of heart attack and stomach problems.

People buy troubles because they reject the Prince of peace to have his way in their lives, that is the cost of trading your souls for things that don’t have eternal value.

The temple of your body is built to house and commune with God, you’re trading it in exchange for sickness with Satan, he gives you cosmetics and costumes for fake beauty in exchange for cancer and kidney problems, he offered you things that added nothing to your life but subtraction to your purpose.

Your spirit is cast down instead of being lifted for the things you brought to the temple of your life, entertainment caused depression and suicide, while revelry is the cause of a short life, all these things were made by the devil to make your life useless and not fulfil its purpose on earth.

When the temple of God was polluted, the presence of God also departed and the angel of his presence vacated the temple, which made the heathen come to cart away the vessels in the house of God and use it sacrifice to their gods, there is no honour in a place where the name of God is dishonour.

The demons you invited when dealing with Satan’s properties are still there when going to church, unless they’re chased out by Jesus per your invitation, they will turn your body into a place of weapons storage.

Preaching can’t affect the spirit that is set up for buying and selling, have you seen a person going to sell wares in a prayer ground and his life changed because of preaching?

Most ministers of God charge money to minister, they sell the gospel because of little knowledge of the word, they charge for deliverance no wonder the deliverance is not perfected.

Selling oil and handkerchiefs for prayers is part of buying and selling, anointing oil with a price tag for success and breakthrough, if Satan came to knock at your doors later to demand his returns, you would blame it on household wickedness.

As long as you allow demons to display their goods in the temple of your life, they add nothing but subtraction from the life of God and give you problems in return.

Whoever buys or sells in the temple adds no value to it, but subtracts from God’s influence and his purpose.

What is the essence of the bleating of goats in your temple? Only to cause distraction to those who came there to do things approved by God and whoever celebrates it is the same as them, Dagon and the ark of the covenant can’t live in the same house.

If you turn the house of God into a place of merchandise, the devil will turn the temple of your body into a place of lust and the pride of life, trying to please men rather than God.

The gifts of God have become a medium of making money, whoever uses his gifts for money is not from God, he is either Satan working in him or his flesh sends him on errands.

That is why God will never call his servant into half ministry, it’s either you drop what you are doing before like Elisha, and follow the call like Peter, to become a fisher of men.

If not, Satan will use your life as an experiment as those who do the work of God deceitfully.

It will attract the spirit of greed that will make you serve two masters at a go, without feeling committed to none of them, as you want to please God, you will also try to please your other masters, so he won’t collect your food source from you.

Total dependence on God is the key to successful ministry, that is what Jesus wants from you and he will never leave or forsake you.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, remove the spirit that is buying and selling from my life by your mercy and consume it with your fire in Jesus name amen.
