Leviticus 10:1 ( And Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took their censer and put fire therein, and put incense thereon, and offered strange fire before the LORD, which he commanded them not)

God gave a commandment to Moses during the setup of the tabernacle, not to allow strange fire on its altar, still, the sons of Aaron went against the LORD during a performance of their first offering in the presence of the LORD, they lit strange fire that the LORD hadn’t commanded, and invoked the wrath of God; as a result, both died in a single spot.

They both invoked the wrath of God and fire came from his presence to devour them.

God is sovereign he rules by himself and he rules in his word, he doesn’t need anyone’s help or approval in controlling the affairs of the universe, he is different from other gods, whose followers need help before they can function.

God told the Israelites to build him a tabernacle in the old testament, that was his dwelling place since he was yet to come and reconcile humanity back to Himself as they supposed to be his dwelling place forever, he wouldn’t live in a tabernacle constructed with man’s hand, but want to stay in a place built by his own hand; we become his tabernacle by the indwelling of the holy spirit through the work of regeneration.

Holy Ghost is the living fire burning on the altar of human life.

As he wouldn’t allow strange fire on his physical altar so he wouldn’t allow it in the altar of our body which was dedicated to him in redemption.

How are we defiling this temple by bringing strange fire on his altar daily with our activities in the process of helping God?

We want to help ourselves to become beautiful but in essence, we lit a strange fire of beauty on our face with cosmetics and brought it to worship in the house of the living God, if you’re not satisfied with how you are created, you will surely light a strange fire to increase your beauty like the world.

God want original even his sacrifice does not need leaven, all the additional to what God created is not different from the leaven and result as strange fire being lit on his altar.

The decorations of God’s temple are different from those of idols, whatever God does not approve that you add to your beauty is a strange fire.

The way humanity especially Christians are trying to help themselves when they think God isn’t responding to their request is quite alarming, this results in bringing strange fire into the temple of God which is our body.

God can’t live in a polluted environment, this create avenue for Satan to dwell in a place we initially dedicated for God.

A Christian who is sleeping with someone he or she didn’t marry is lighting a strange fire, they want to marry but couldn’t wait for the appointed time of God, they’re testing the market before they put a price, this is a strange fire that won’t allow God to manifest in their marriages for it’s dead on arrival.

Some pastors put incisions on their eyes to see visions, and washed themselves with strange soap to command anointing in the congregation, all this falling down when ministration is going on is nothing but a manifestation of a strange fire.

They invited demons to take over that area which has been dedicated to satan to carry out his purpose, wherever strange fire is lit, it gives an invitation to evil spirits to take over, which makes the latter end worse than the former.

Evil anointing from the marine kingdom is strange fire in the life of anyone that become a partaker of it, evil spirits acquired in the world before giving life to God should vacate your life, they’re strangers hiding in the closet of your body waiting for you to send them on errands.

They’re carry over of problems which must be dispose off at Calvary before you start working for God, if you carry it over to work for God, it will hinder your growth in the kingdom, it’ll result in lighting strange fire on the divine altar.

That is how demons are increasing and having dominion over us and we wonder why it’s like that, strange fire attracts the judgment of death upon the carrier, this is the reason physical and spiritual death are rampant in the lives of believers and we are asking, how is it like that?

Anything you do to invoke the manifestation of the spirit of God that’s not according to his word is a strange fire which will consume the good things which God deposited inside of you.

Ninety per cent of believers are doing it, knowingly or unknowingly, deliberately or inadvertently, and it has quenched the spirit of God from manifesting to perform his ancient works in the congregation.

This is Satan’s plan from the pit of hell to take over the church affairs gradually to control people’s minds to work contrary to divine purpose.

If you light strange fire on your body, it will also affect the body of Christ, if a cancerous part of a body is not cut off, it will spread to other areas to infect and paralyse it.

All these kinds of strange fire that’s ravaging the body of Christ started from someone whom we don’t take cognisance of and it’s spread to pollute the body of Christ.

It started with something little that we adopted that now spreads to contaminate the church, like it doesn’t matter if we invite comedians to spice up our service.

It doesn’t matter if we invite the presence of angels into our service through conjuring if God doesn’t answer on time.

Those who neglect the presence of God by inviting angels are doing themselves no good, Moses chose the presence of God instead of angels when God said he wouldn’t follow them because they were stiffnecked people.

Angels don’t forgive its only God who can forgive sins, whatever you do and invoke the wrath of your angel won’t go unpunished, but God is a merciful God, who pardons iniquity from generation to generation of those who love him.

We say, It doesn’t matter if we allow women to open their heads in praying when the Bible says otherwise, a small leaven leavened the whole lump.

Most of the things we adopted into our programmes come from idolatry origin, which becomes strange fire that silences the voice of the Holy Spirit.

Now is the time to come to our senses and stop the intrusion of evil spirits by living our lives only for God and his purpose.
