Ezekiel 34:7,8 ( Therefore ye shepherds, hear the Word of the LORD; As I live saith the Lord GOD, surely because my flock became a prey, and my flock became meat to every beast of the field, because there was no shepherd, neither did my shepherds search for my flock, but the shepherds fed themselves and fed not my sheep.)
God will require the souls of the flock from your hand, all the members that are attending your service, that day you will know that answering the call is not a medal but a responsibility that you are called to do.
Most pastors become intermediaries between God and man, they are competing with Christ, instead of them to direct souls to Christ at the feet of the Cross, they direct souls to themselves but can they deliver themselves not to talk of saving others?
Catholic organizations are more diligent in this area, no wonder it will be difficult to convert a catholic member to a real Christian, they borrowed this ideology from the first church to cage men inside their bondage.
Jesus Christ hated hierarchical order in the church, he warned his church not to call anyone master or Father on earth, whoever arrogates this power to himself is competing with God.
It’s not only adult churches that this thing is rampant, it also happens in the children’s gatherings, where some children’s church teachers eat the food of children they ask them to care for on all Sundays, if you want your children to be well fed, it would be better to feed them yourselves.
Many shepherds will say that no one should help any church members if they don’t approve of it, they’re not ready to help, and won’t give a chance to those who want to help genuinely.
This is another form of spiritual manipulation and bondage.
Instead of using the money in the church for the development of the real church, they divert it to building construction with bricks, while the spiritual nakedness of the real church which is a human being is yet to be covered.
Whenever a soul needs help the money in the church will become church money, who are the church, are they not people who occupy the pews of the church? Which you need to spend it on them to make their life better and glorify the God of heaven for divine provisions.
The government of the day knows its responsibility more than the church of this day, it collects taxes from its citizens to return it to them in making life easy for them, how much more the money people contribute to the church in the name of tithes and offerings, including Thanksgiving.
Are we not supposed to use it to transform the lives of the members who contributed much to the welfare of the church?
The church is another government within a government under the authority of Christ, let us learn from the first Christians in the book of Acts of the Apostles, when they brought all their substance to the church to distribute it among the members.
A woman in a church needed financial assistance for an eye operation, but members were willing to help but the leader said no because of the grudges she held for selfish reasons.
That is why God is against hierarchy in the church, for it’s under the control and the manipulative power of the leaders who go against the will of God for his church.
Most shepherds do eat the flock by sleeping with the women in the church in the name of deliverance.
Most are not real shepherds, they are wolves in sheep’s clothing, it’s by their fruit you will know them and avoid them.
God says he will take away his sheep from their hands, he has appointed a shepherd from the root of David who will take his sheep to their promised land.
A true child of God will listen to the voice of the true and great shepherd and come to him directly instead of passing through different media to another destination.
The word of God says, My sheep hear my voice and follow me, the voice of strangers they won’t follow.
Someone who has been given her little tithes and offerings to the church for over twenty years and urgently needs financial assistance to augment her house rent, and you are telling her as a pastor that the church is not a microfinance company.
This is wickedness of the highest order, don’t you know that your place is not registered to collect money in any form from society, if it’s not registered as a Charity organization.
That is why the government doesn’t collect taxes from the church for it’s registered as a charity organization.
They need to use their proceeds in any form to help the society they belong to.
Even if you can’t give all that was asked, you can render little assistance without receiving it back, that is the church quota and the shepherd’s contribution to the well-being of a church member, let them feel their belonging to the development of the church.
It’s because most of the shepherds are diverting what belongs to God to their own personal convenience, and they will all account for the money deposited in their hands on the day of Judgement.
Church of Laodecea was claiming to be rich but in the record of the Almighty, they are miserably poor and wretched, blind and naked; definition of riches in God’s dictionary is not in materials or money but in good works and righteousness.
Prayer: Father guide your flock aright to your side, don’t let them fall into the hands of wolves in sheep’s clothing, in Jesus’ name amen.
