John 6:28,29 ( Then said they unto him, What shall we do that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said to them, This is the work of God, that ye believe in him whom he hath sent. )

The moment they saw where Jesus was staying, and he introduced himself, the first thing they asked him was to do the works of God, not even a minute of consideration, that would lead to it.

As he began to say that worship precedes works, they started to question his authenticity.

Why do Christians always rush to put men in ministry before they discover their own identity in Christ? Even if they’re not mature enough to bear the burden?

Someone who just gave his life to Christ within a month and we are asking which work is he doing for God? Or which department did he belong to?

We don’t even give him the pleasure of knowing more about God or the joy of fellowship in his presence to learn his way.

I saw a situation when a man won a bible quiz, and they rushed him into bible college to become a minister of God. At the end, this man became a nuisance to the body of Christ. When he started introducing other things to the church, he found himself unable to find his way in the ministry.

Those who rush into the ministry are the ones who are crazy for power; they seek power to supplement their lack of the gifts and the fruit of the Spirit. They rush to get power and claim that all powers belong to God, whether it’s from witches or wizards, as long as it’s supernatural.

A respected man in church was saying to his confusion that it’s good to marry a witch if she can give you money. Had he tarried in his presence and known the devices of his enemy, he wouldn’t have suggested such things.

His comment only decoded his purpose in the ministry to seek money at the expense of his soul.

This is the result of those who failed to worship but desire to work at any cost in his vineyard.

But those who wait on God shall have their strength renewed because they have become the habitation of the Almighty, who will lead them the way they should go.

I know of a woman who left the white garment church for Pentecostal, and a worker in the church asked which department she belonged to, the usher or the chorister?

The woman told me, and I told the woman that it’s immaturity that will make you think of finding work for her in the church, let her learn at his feet first before going on errand for God.

There are many instances in the kingdom of God when those who don’t find their way are trying to direct others.

A man who gave testimony of having an encounter with Christ, who within two months after his experience, wanted to lead a church.

He later ended up committing adultery with his landlord’s wife, and the man blinded his one eye.

He who doesn’t have a heart of worship shouldn’t involve themselves in the works of the kingdom.

If you see a person who wants to work for God without experiencing his presence, check his life where it ends, it’s either that he doesn’t know what he is doing, or he is a Satan agents that want to infiltrate the kingdom.

Worship places us under the authority of Christ, and that is where we will receive instructions that will lead to our service in the kingdom.

Prophet Isaiah saw God and worship before him before he was given an assignment to the people of Israel, had he not had an encounter with the holiness of God, he would just be doing the works no one sent him.

The work of God is sacred, the bible says, “be holy, ye who bear the vessel of the lord”.

It’s from among the worshippers that God chose his workers. Remember that satan is also one of His servants, but he doesn’t worship Him.

But all his activities are directly under the authority of the almighty, which will bring the purpose of God to prevail in the life of the saints and the entire world.

King Saul was also operating as a Prophet when the evil spirit had put him under bondage, men still asked, Is Saul among the prophets?

It’s not works that qualify you for heaven, it’s only those who worship that belong to that place.

Some will come to Jesus at the end of ages, claiming they worked for God and ministered in his street, but he will confess to them, that i knew you not depart from me, you workers of iniquity, they might worked for him but all their works is without worship, that place them on the negative side who put their gain above the worship.

Prayer: Father lord, I bow under your authority, lead me through the path of righteousness for your name’s sake, in Jesus’ name, amen.
