Matthew 6:31-33 (Therefore take no thought, saying, what shall we eat? or what shall we drink? Or wherewithal shall we be clothed? ( For after all these things do the gentiles seek) For your heavenly Father know that ye have the need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you)

Curse of poverty has been ravaging humanity since Eden when God cursed Adam that in sweat he would put food in his mouth, and thorns and thistles shall he eat all the day of his life.

Poverty does not necessarily mean lack of money or food; it’s not only famine of food that ravages mankind, but in some areas of life, there will always be insufficiency, whether in health or marital issues or joy and peace, that you’ll need divine intervention to take place.

Poverty is the lack of God where he is supposed to be, the farther we are from God, the farther we are from what makes life easy.

There are different types of poverty which the devil is using to terrorise humanity and bring them perpetually under his bondage.

Some people think they are richer in money or material possessions. Still, their souls are lacking the utmost important things in life, which is the lord Jesus Christ. Whatever you have in life that doesn’t include Jesus Christ is the highest level of poverty of souls that’ll later land you in eternal poverty, where you’ll lack food and drink for all eternity.

Why are you feeding only your body without including your soul which is your real self?

That is why Jesus Christ is advertising himself as the bread of life and the living water to save your souls from eternal hunger and thirst.

Why will you struggle by all means to end your earthly hunger and refuse to end the spiritual one by seeking the most important thing, which is Christ?

Souls are hungry and thirsty for the truth; they’re searching the mountain and the sea to feed their souls with junk which won’t bring satisfaction. This is the highest level of poverty which is affecting the whole world of men, It’s only in Christ that you can find satisfaction for your soul.

The sanctum inside of man that is supposed to be occupied by God alone is under the control of the self while the devil is sitting on the throne; this is the cause of wanting that ravages humanity and makes them not satisfied.

There is bread of life and the living water for the souls supplement that will end your spiritual famine, it’s only those who find it that will have everlasting satisfaction.

There is poverty that you’ll have the money but won’t be able to eat what your soul desires, you will be restricted to a type of food by medical prescriptions, what is the essence of money that you can’t use to eat whatever you like?

There is money in abundance, but the body lacks nutrients which money could buy; this is another level of poverty , that makes living more difficult. That’s what makes many people not see meaning in their lives, because they don’t know the importance of living without enjoying life.

If you think you’re not poor and have only the money you can feed yourself without considering others, and no one is eating out of it, you’re the most wretched in society, just like that rich man and Lazarus.

Riches that don’t provide you with treasure in heaven are not riches. If God give riches, it’s for you to secure your portion in heavenly places. Those who know the importance of heaven will use their earthly resources to secure their eternity.

Someone was bragging about his earthly belongings to a spiritual man, saying that he has houses in every city of the world, and he could travel to any place without restrictions.

Then the man pointed towards the sky and asked, How many houses belong to you upstairs?

Another level of poverty is when someone can’t feed himself, not to talk of feeding another soul, even some men abandoned their children to the care of their mothers because they don’t want to take responsibility, if these children grow to become somebody in life that is when they will show their face to beg for forgiveness.

When you’re poor and don’t find solutions to it in Christ Jesus, it results in selfishness, it’s better to die poor in God than to die poor while in pursuit of things that don’t matter.

Some remain poor because they can’t manage the riches God gives them; they spend money on things that don’t have eternal value. Sometimes God allow some Christians to remain poor to save their souls from reckless living.

The purpose of your salvation is to secure the soul, even if you are physically wretched, but your soul is filled with the word of God, you’re not poor, for God will provide your needs according to his riches in Christ Jesus.

Until some people grow and know the usefulness of riches, they will remain in one spot for life.

Some are operating under the curse of Adam, which their flesh helped to fix the bondage. They’ll put the blame on their wife as witches or the household’s wickedness.

If the only thing you have in life is money, no family or children to uphold your legacy, you’re the most wretched person on earth, some are building houses here and there but fail to train their children, It’s when they die that their children will start attacking each other for the properties of their fathers.

Whichever form of poverty is a curse, it indicates that you are still operating under the curse of Adam, which needs to be broken before you can move forward in life. All of humanity is subject to it; the only solution is to seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness.

If this curse is still in place in one form or another, you can’t partake in the riches of heaven for you have the mark of the curse upon your life, which is yet to be deleted by the blood of the lamb and still operating under the Adam curse, yet to be transferred into the blessing of Abraham.

Nobody with the mark of the original curse will make heaven; it must be blotted out at Calvary, where the blood of Christ is flowing without restrictions.

Lazarus made heaven in poverty; he didn’t have sufficient food, but enough of God. The rich man had enough food, but lacked the presence of God; this is what makes the difference. Jesus came to redeem the poor and the rich for this purpose, so that he could make them the heritage of divine possession.

Satan is using poverty to bring souls to himself, he is exchanging poverty with riches to damm their souls, they end up turning stone to bread and have their stomach filled with gravel that will torment them for eternity.

Satan knows that with physical poverty, you can make heaven, but with spiritual poverty, there is no heaven for you.

Prayer: Father lord, blot out the mark of poverty in my life, destroy the spirit of wanting that wants to damn my soul, in Jesus’ name.
