3 John 2 ( Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in good health, even as thy soul prosper)
The way the world defines prosperity is different from the way of the kingdom, and so is the way they define greatness.
Prosperity of the world is to go and fight to conquer and have dominion through dubious means and stealing from others to add to their own.
But the definition of the prosperity of the kingdom is to seek after the kingdom first and the righteousness of God; this is the prosperity of the souls that’ll bring you in agreement with the plan of God for your life.
Humble yourself by submitting under the mighty hand of God so you’ll be lifted and elevated.
Kingdom prosperity comprises all round, including every area of life; even your health will experience it, and you’ll be able to do all things through the Lord that strengthens you.
Everything related to man was siphoned at the fall; even before a man could prosper in a worldly way, he needed to pay obeisance to the power that is.
It’s only the stronger than the strongman that has the power to take over what belongs to all who come to him for deliverance.
What belongs to the people of God is hidden inside God, including their prosperity.
We need to locate ourselves inside God before prosperity can find us out.
But the people of the earth can’t follow divine protocols because they’re yet to know the owner of prosperity.
They want to prosper without going through the normal ways of the cross; instead of possessing their prosperity with kingdom violence, they steal from others; they can’t wait on God but pass through short way that’ll cut them short in the end.
God wants his people to prosper because the earth belongs to Him with all things inside, including the seas.
The prosperity of the kingdom starts with the souls, as the soul is caged because of sin, so also all what bring prosperity.
Jesus says, seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all other things shall follow.
If you’re trying to run after the glory of the world while neglecting the welfare of your soul, you’ll have a price to pay for eternity; that’s at the expense of your soul.
Kingdom prosperity is the only thing that can be designed by God; nothing is given without responsibility attached, so he gives to whoever waits on him and works according to His purpose.
Your life prospers if your soul is prospering with all the chains of sickness that are holding you bound got broken by the light and fire emanating from the presence of God as your souls move gradually to reach the level of Christ’s stature.
For one to prosper in the world without the passageway of calvary that will be at the expense of your soul, you’ll lose your soul to gain the world.
Buy into God’s program; you’ll lose the world to gain your soul and everything related to its welfare.
The kingdom of darkness steals and takes from others to improve themselves; that’s the principle of darkness. Since he doesn’t have the world in his hand, nothing real is given to man unless it’s released from above.
Whoever wants to receive from God must come to him first and find his position in his kingdom.
This is the prosperity of the souls and all other things shall be added.
God didn’t release his resources without a purpose attached; he gave Hannah Samuel because he was in need of a prophet and priest, and the request of Hannah worked according to God’s design for her life.
Joseph was taken to the palace for the salvation of the children of Israel and to bring the purpose of God to pass by salvaging them out of Egypt.
Your prosperity is attached to the prosperity of your soul as you seek the Kingdom of God and your purpose in the kingdom, it’s coming into alignment with God’s will, and the resources of heaven shall be released that’ll bring the success of your purpose.
Riches is not an earthly reward of a believer, rather God give it to his people to help their ministries on earth and make the work easier to accomplish.
If we hope in the things of the world as reward for the works we did, we will be the most wretched people on earth, because unbelievers achieve things more than believers.
Our prosperity is spiritual and no one can know or discern what God has prepared for his children, and as we prosper spiritually so also in the physical.
Whoever got riches without passing the way of the cross can’t make it to heaven unless they dump it at the Cross and wait for the riches of heaven.
That’s why Jesus said, it’ll be easier for Carmel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to make heaven.
Whatever gets through the flesh will have Satan’s trademark that’ll disqualify you from making it to the gate of heaven.
Apostle Peter asked the Lord, what will be our gain when we leave everything to follow you?
Then Jesus answered, that you will gain hundreds fold in this world and in the world to come; this is the prosperity of the kingdom, which we must dump the earthly ones to possess.
We need to dump the Mammon of unrighteousness to take over the true riches.
As a Christian, if you abandoned the kingdom of God and started running after mundane things, you will fall short of divine expectations for your life and miss the reason you’re created.
